00:10 - So, I remember that when I turn around and scream,
00:14 I remember that the cameraman was in the back seat
00:16 and that was improvised.
00:17 And him being like, "Yo, do that (beep) again."
00:19 'Cause there's a B camera in the car
00:21 and so they couldn't see it at Video Village.
00:23 And he was like, "Do that again, do that again."
00:25 So we did that a couple times where I turn around and yell.
00:29 I remember that, the one thing I really remember
00:32 about this day though, when I got this job,
00:34 I told everybody in the building that I grew up in
00:37 that I was gonna play Stacey Dash's boyfriend.
00:40 And they were like, "You get to kiss her?"
00:42 And I was like, "I get to kiss her."
00:43 And this was the day that we finally get to kiss on camera.
00:46 And after we kissed, Stacey goes, "Wow."
00:50 And I'll never forget that.
00:53 And I told, I told, I remember telling my friend,
00:57 Kevin Jordan, "Yo, I kissed Stacey Dash."
00:58 And she said, "Wow."
01:00 He said, "Bull (beep)."
01:00 I said, "I'm dead ass, I did."
01:03 And he goes, "So I brought him to set with me the next day."
01:08 I'll never forget this, this is how young I was.
01:10 And he's next to Stacey, he goes, "Yo, so Stacey,
01:12 "so when you kissed Donald, did you really say wow?"
01:16 And I was like, "Oh, this is embarrassing."
01:19 And she goes, "Yeah, I did."
01:20 And I was like, "Thank you, Stacey.
01:21 "Thank you for being good to me."
01:23 I'll never forget that.

01:32 - That day was a day.
01:35 I was late for work.
01:37 I might've been hungover from the curb that night before.
01:41 And I walked in and they said,
01:43 "So you gotta do a dance today."
01:45 And I had no clue, "What song am I dancing to?"
01:48 And they were like, "Belle Bib Devoe's Poison."
01:51 And then a wave of relief fell over me
01:55 because I had been singing and dancing to this song
01:57 since I was 16 years old.
01:59 This is what you got.
02:00 But since then, it's now a Fortnite dance.
02:03 It's the default dance in Fortnite, which is nuts.
02:07 People assume I can dance now because of it.
02:09 And all I'm doing is the running man.

02:17 - Yes.

02:21 - This one is like a dream.
02:23 And I can't believe that this was the start
02:27 of the trailer for "Remember the Titans."
02:30 So when doing this movie,
02:31 we didn't have a lot of connection to Denzel
02:34 because he played the coach
02:36 and we were the kids on the team.
02:39 And so whenever he addressed us,
02:40 he was playing Coach Boone the whole time.
02:42 I remember he didn't even say good morning.
02:44 He just walked up to me and was like, "Let's go, let's work."
02:47 And we went off into the corner
02:48 and we ran lines for about 10 minutes.
02:53 He was like, "You feel good?"
02:54 I was like, "I feel great."
02:55 He was like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:57 "All right, let's do this."
02:59 And this is what you got.
03:00 And this is what came out of it.
03:02 I mean, it's an iconic scene.
03:03 Like, I know how iconic this scene is,
03:05 you know what I mean?
03:06 And I'm in it and I feel embarrassed saying that (beep)
03:07 but this was a moment in my life where,
03:12 in my mind, I'm like, I can't wait to tell my mom.
03:14 I can't wait to tell my dad
03:16 because I'm now working with the best.
03:19 I'll never forget that day.
03:22 That was a great day in my life.

03:41 - When doing that, I just remember thinking to myself,
03:44 "How is Trey Taylor not that savvy
03:49 "to the fact that he was improvising
03:54 "where the plant came from
03:56 "and he couldn't react to it?"
03:58 So when shooting that, in my mind, I was like,
04:01 play dumb.
04:03 (laughing)
04:05 ♪ And I'm gonna turn my heart around ♪
04:08 - This is a product of me being in Clueless.
04:10 I would have never been in this music video
04:12 had I not been in Clueless.
04:14 Brandi came, I was a part of a repertory company,
04:17 a youth organization called City Kids in New York,
04:21 and Brandi came to perform with us.
04:25 And when she walked in, she was like,
04:26 "Oh my God, it's Murray!"
04:27 We would hang out, her and her brother, Ray J,
04:32 while they were in New York,
04:33 every time they came to New York.
04:34 They came over to the crib, all of that stuff.
04:36 So Brandi's actually my first real Hollywood friend
04:40 that I've ever had.
04:41 Even though it was only for a couple of months,
04:44 she was the first person that I can honestly say,
04:46 as small as the window is,
04:48 they were the first people that I knew in Hollywood
04:50 that were really successful.
04:51 I remember I was on the set in Hype Williams.
04:54 Like, this is how crazy it is.
04:57 By the end of it all, I'm at Hype Williams' house
04:59 for a birthday party.
05:01 Like, for a small window, I was hip.
05:04 Small window.
05:05 The window is circular, and it's like this big,
05:09 but I was hip.
05:10 And this is, what you're seeing here
05:13 is the climactic moment of my hipness.
