00:02 - After I'd been visiting Ronnie Kray

00:08 in Broadmoor for many months,

00:10 the authorities let me take in a small tape recorder

00:14 to record some messages from him.

00:16 These have never been heard by anybody else

00:18 apart from myself before,

00:20 but now I'm going to reveal them.

00:22 They are really fascinating,

00:24 particularly his message to any young person

00:27 thinking of entering the world of crime

00:29 as he and his brother Reg had done so many years before.

00:39 may think we've had a glamorous life,

00:41 but I advise any young people today

00:45 not to get in any trouble

00:46 because it will only bring them a life of misery.
