00:21 And when I saw him on Monday, odds dropped.
00:23 He's around 22 to one.
00:25 He's down in some markets down to 16.
00:28 I got him at 18.
00:29 And here's why.
00:30 He had eight straight top 15 finishes on the PGA Tour.
00:34 That stretches back to July.
00:36 His ball striking has been impeccable.
00:38 The guy's got six wins on tour,
00:40 four of them at his home state of California.
00:42 He's got three straight top 15s here at this venue.
00:45 And experience matters at Pebble Beach.
00:47 If anyone's telling you otherwise in the betting markets,
00:50 they don't know what they're talking about.
00:51 Every winner since 2006 of this event
00:55 has had a prior top 21 finish or better
00:59 before they won.
01:00 So the fact is, is that if you're just coming in here cold,
01:03 and we're not talking about the 2019 US Open here.

01:08 and experienced what I was walking through today,
01:11 then you just don't know.
01:12 And the experience really matters.
01:14 And that's why a guy like Jordan Spieth is on my card.

01:18 And he's dropped.
01:19 He started the week almost at plus 2400.
01:21 Like these guys are dropping
01:22 because Jordan's been here 11 times.
01:24 11 made cuts, six top 10s.
01:27 He's got a win in 2017.
01:30 The guy's electric around here.

01:33 I mean, he's the poster child for this event.
01:36 And when it gets ugly this week,
01:38 is there anybody better at ugly golf in the world

01:43 You know, you can have your pretty guys like Morikawa
01:46 and some of the rest of them,
01:47 but when it gets dirty this weekend,
01:49 and it's gonna get dirty, right?
01:51 We're seeing it today out there in the practice rounds.

01:56 that can get the job done, and you know it.
