00:00Where are we at here with the Knicks and Rockets here?
00:02We're down the stretch.
00:03A little bit of jockeying can be made in the East and West at this point,
00:07but things seemingly have normalized with a little bit over a week to go.
00:11The Houston Rockets are going to get a point tonight against the Knicks.
00:15Total of 217.5, if we know anything about New York,
00:18because they usually step up against these good teams.
00:20I worry about them when they play the bad teams, Carlo.
00:23Yeah, this is a revenge game for the Rockets.
00:25If you remember, they were up by like a million points
00:28and then blew the game in New York in that massive comeback for the Knicks.
00:32So the Rockets kind of need to say, hey, we're not going to lose this game
00:37in the late seconds or choke this one away.
00:39We want to come in and kind of send a message to the New York Knicks
00:42that that was a fluke win.
00:44On the flip side, anytime you hear about the New York Knicks,
00:47it's always about Carl Anthony Townsend, how much harder he can play
00:51or how soft he's been so far.
00:54And when you look at the numbers, they don't look like soft numbers for me.
00:57I think that narrative is a little bit exaggerated.
01:00I think Carl Anthony Towns is a pretty good basketball player,
01:03and he is going to go as good.
01:05You know, the Knicks are going to go as well as he plays.
01:07And this is a matchup for him going up against Alper and Shangoon
01:09where he could dominate that matchup.
01:12If you have Carl Anthony Towns on, you know, any sort of prop bet,
01:15I would go for a double-double.
01:16He's definitely going to have that.
01:17But whatever that is, it should at least be 20-10 or even 20-12.
01:21I would take something above that because Carl Anthony Towns,
01:23in these matchups, these type of games, he tends to show up.
01:27So go with Cat on the prop bet.
01:30And then also I would take the Knicks.
01:32You know, the points are not a factor in this one.
01:34So just take the Knicks to win outright on the road
01:36and sweep the Rockets in the season series.
01:38You mentioned that the one trade this year that has been, you know,
01:42the trade young, probably the trade of the year.
01:43Injury of the year for me has been Fred Van Vliet with the Houston Rockets.
01:47If Fred Van Vliet was playing with the Houston Rockets right now,
01:50they would be in that mix of, like, you know, Spurs and the Thunder
01:52and the Nuggets as being a contender in the West.
01:55They are missing Fred Van Vliet, that floor general, that point guard,
01:59the point of a cat defensively on the floor.
02:02We'll see what happens next year when he's back healthy.
