A Magistrate's Court in Melaka imposed a fine of RM2,400 on an Army Private on Monday (Jan 15) after he pleaded guilty to impersonating a Staff Sergeant and trespassing into the home of a commander at Terendak Camp in Sungai Udang in Nov last year.

00:32 sergeant with the knowledge that it was likely to be believed that he belonged to that class

00:39 The second charge was for criminal trespass into a prohibited zone where the house of

00:48 The offences were committed at Poseri Satya, Terendak Camp in the Melaka Tengah District
00:53 on November 14 last year.
00:55 The accused, who was unrepresented, was in the process of being expelled from the service
01:00 when he committed the offences.
01:02 He was previously a former staff sergeant and was demoted to a private after disciplinary
