00:23 reporting on today's Hamilton Weiner sale.

00:26 Today agents yarded around 2250 cattle consisting of Herefords and Euro Mix-X cattle.

00:31 The Hereford steers sold to strong demand across the board,

00:35 especially on those EU accredited Herefords where we did see

00:38 anything over 380 kilograms reach a top of 330 cents

00:44 and generally around that 320 to that 338 for those guys.

00:48 So that was very good for those heavy handed ones.

00:50 As we came down in weights on the Herefords we did see that EU accreditation really kick into gear

00:55 where those lighter 280 to 320 kilogram Hereford steers that were EU accredited

01:01 did sell to a top of 350 cents with your general run around that 330 to 350 for those Herefords.

01:08 The EU cattle today were very well represented and sold to strong demand.

01:13 Probably the highlight of the market was the very good line up of Limousin steers that we had

01:18 which topped at 380 cents for those bigger weighted ones around that 340 kilos

01:24 but those real tops sold to about 330.

01:27 And then once you came onto your Charolais we did see a top of 350 cents

01:32 for those good Charolais weighing around 370 kilograms

01:36 with your general run of Charolais around 320 to 330.

01:40 So very consistent on that middle range across the whole yarding.

01:43 The European bred Heffers, well they sold once again strong demand on those Limousin Heffers.

01:51 So they topped at 424 cents going back out into the paddock to be bred from.

01:55 With generally all of those Limousin Heffers did sell from about 360 cents plus up to that 424.

02:03 And your Charolais, they sold from 280 to 310 for those Heffers.

02:14 and we look forward to that sale as well.
