00:20 Yeah, no job very good here today at the Hamilton Independent Agent's British bred heifer sale.

00:26 A tick over 2200 heifers penned, predominantly blacks and herefords,

00:31 the odd baldy and the odd short on cross.

00:34 Best price cents per kilo was $3.86 today

00:39 and they were heifers that are going back into the paddock.

00:42 Most of your heifers that were bought for breeding purposes were making anywhere from $3.30 up to that top of $3.86

00:49 but consistently probably $3.30 to $3.60.

00:53 Feeder heifers sold very, very strong up to probably three middle $3.20s, $3.24 or $3.25

00:58 but predominantly they were all $3.10 to $3.20 irrespective of breed.

01:03 So it didn't matter whether they were blacks, reds or whatever they were,

01:06 they were all pretty much making $3.10 to $3.20.

01:09 Weight wise, probably would have, I reckon the yarding would have been a tick around 300 kilo average.

01:15 So very solid result.

01:18 Gippsland strong, no real feed lot, well you had the Ogilvy group but your JBSs and those types,

01:26 they weren't here at all.

01:28 So very, very solid result.

01:30 A lot of cattle staying locally as well, going back onto a grass job so that's good to see.

01:35 A handful going up north, but majority of cattle probably stayed in the southeast across Victoria into Gippsland.

01:44 So a very good result. All our clients are happy.

01:48 Everybody that's purchased that cattle are happy because they're well bred cattle.

01:52 So all in all, this week has been an exceptional week considering the way the job was even a month, six weeks ago.

02:01 So yeah, everybody's very positive. It's all looking good. So upwards from here.
