00:03the Elders Crossbred Lamb Sale. There's been just under 10,000 yarded today with buyers
00:09coming from throughout South Australia and sellers also South Australian, some from KI,
00:15Lower Mid-North Region and through to the Mallee. G'day Brett Peters, Scott Eichler and Conor
00:21Lamont from Murray Bridge Feature Sale, Crossbred and Merino Sale today. We yarded about 9,500
00:28lambs today with all weights represented. Where'd they come from, Scotty? Lower Mid-North,
00:33Fleurieu Hills, Mallee, Upper South East and a few from KI. So great lineup of lambs from everyone,
00:40so much appreciated. Conor with the rates. Yeah, so there was a fair bit of competition today right
00:44through those kill lambs, topped at about $313. Yeah, plenty of processor activity on those lambs
00:51and they went into Victoria and into our local processors as well. So $313 to $280 would have
00:57seen those kill lambs. Once we came under $280, you sort of saw those restockers and feedlotters
01:01really start kicking in. And you know, you'd quote those live weights anywhere from sort of $5.40
01:07and really nudging up close to $6 in some weight ranges. It was almost the lighter we went in
01:14weight, the higher the cents per kilo became. You know, right through where lambs, light lambs,
01:19around 30 kilos, even sub 30 kilos, $180 to $200. So really strong competition, right through as well.
01:25You know, Marino's going back up into the mid-north and a lot of crossbreds going down
01:30the South East and into Western Victoria. So really, really good rates. I'm really happy
01:34with the sale. Yeah, you know, probably above expectations for us with how it went today.
01:39I'll also give a quick shout out to all the vendors that support the sale, the truckies
01:43and the yard staff. It was a massive effort over the last couple of days. So thanks everyone.
