00:00 England won the toss and elected to field the first against the West Indies.
00:04 One nil down in the five match T20 series and they were out to even the
00:08 score. However their bowlers were rudely handled by the opening pair of Brandon
00:13 King and Kyle Mayers. Mayers was the first to go though for 17 with a score
00:17 on 43 in the sixth over.
00:21 Then came a mini batting collapse.
00:27 Nicholas Puran smashed the boundary before he was out caught off the bowling
00:30 up Adil Rashid.
00:32 This is a big opportunity for England and Walks makes no mistake.
00:35 Sheahope was next to go for one.
00:38 Clean them up. Riyan Ahmed.
00:40 And the Shimron Head Myers struggles continued out of the bowling of Rashid
00:45 for two. West Indies 54 for four after nine overs.
00:49 Ravman Powell and the King began the rebuilding job and that they did.
00:54 They took Rashid out of the attack and they chose to attack Sam Curran.
00:58 His two overs going for 38 runs.
01:01 Slapped. That was absolutely smashed by Ravman Powell.
01:07 Start up.
01:08 And again that is monstrous from Ravman Powell.
01:16 After teeing off on Curran he finally got Powell out for a match changing 50
01:21 runs off 28 balls. King continued on from where Powell left off.
01:27 And six more gets the height and all the way.
01:32 Russell got to 14 but he was bold in the end and Jason Holder tried it to get a
01:37 six. West Indies getting to a competitive 176 for seven.
01:43 But not enough. Holes out in the deep two wickets to end the innings.
01:48 In reply Aqeel Hossain was difficult to get away and
01:52 Josh Butler fell early for just five runs.
01:54 Accepted with glee.
01:56 The English were patient though. Phil Salt and Will Jacks tried to understand
02:00 the pitch and the strategy of the Windies bowlers
02:04 before going off. Alzari Joseph accounted for both of their wickets
02:07 just as they got settled in. Hasn't got enough distance on it
02:12 and it's taken by Holder. Liam Livingstone had the desire to take the
02:16 match away from the hosts when he took a liking to the bowling of
02:20 Andre Russell. However Gudakish Moti took him out in
02:24 the next over for 17.
02:27 Ruffman Powell wants it. Ruffman Powell takes it.
02:31 Sam Curran kept surging and taking the attack to the Windies. He played well
02:35 for his 50 runs of 32 balls. He got out attempting to
02:39 take on Joseph. 134 for six. It was a crucial wicket in the
02:43 context of the match with just over two overs remaining. It proved
02:48 to be too much of a task for Moin Ali and company to pull off. Ali closing on
02:53 22 not out.
02:56 Russell's final over went for 17 runs but England needed 10 more to seal a win.
03:02 West Indies taking the victory as they go 2-0 up with game three set for
03:07 Saturday. Sergio Dufour, TV6 Sport.
