00:00West Indies decision to bowl first would pay dividends early against one of the
00:04tournament favorites. Karishma Ramhara could play a key role in the positive
00:08start. She would effect a run out and add the wicket of the
00:17captain Alyssa Healy to her collection. When Talia McGraw was sent back
00:21cheaply the Aussies were at risk of a small score at 59-5 but the Australians
00:26are favorites for a reason as they got a 50 partnership between Ashley Gardner
00:31and Annabelle Sutherland. Both would eventually depart after getting into
00:35their 30s but an unbeaten 21 from Alana King would help the Australians to
00:39recover to 144 for 8 of their 20 overs. The Windies run chase would start
00:45contrastingly brighter with Healy Matthews and Kiana Joseph at the top. The
00:50two would dominate the Aussie bowling to compile an opening stand of 68 but the
00:55partnership would be broken on the same score with a Joseph departing on 36.
01:00The second wicket would come 24 runs later as
01:05Sherman Campbell was bowled on 9. That's when the bizarre would happen as the
01:09Windies absolutely imploded losing the next five wickets for just six runs.
01:16Too much is expected of Captain Healy Matthews so when she fell on 42 so did the
01:21Windies. The Caribbean women spectacularly collapsing on 109 losing
01:26their second warm-up match by 55 runs.
