Murder victim Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin was seen alive around his apartment block at Idaman Apartment, Damansara Damai by two child witnesses five hours after he was reported missing on December 5.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan on Thursday (Dec 14) also said that the police have recorded a total of 86 statements and collected 238 DNA samples so far in relation to the investigation.

00:25 six-year-old autistic boy wandering alone in the corridor on the second and third floor
00:31 of Block R where Zain Ryan's family lives at around 5 and 5.30pm on December 5.
00:40 That time frame was about five hours after Zain was reported missing at 12.30pm.
00:47 Commissioner Hussein also said police have recorded a total of 86 statements in relation
00:53 to the investigation, adding that a total of 238 DNA samples have also been collected so far.
01:01 Zain Ryan was reported missing last Tuesday and his body was found the following day in
01:07 a stream about 200 metres from the block he lives in at Apartment Indaman.
01:14 On Wednesday, the investigating team found a sock in a stream near where Zain Ryan's
01:19 body was discovered.
01:21 Commissioner Hussein said the sock needed to be sent to a laboratory for analysis to
01:27 ascertain whether it belonged to Zain Ryan.
01:31 On Thursday morning, a forensic police team was seen arriving and entering Block R of
