00:00U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday, negotiations with Iran were going extremely well, adding that the country is
00:08preparing to allow oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:13Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One following a trip to Florida, Trump said there was progress in talks.
00:19So we we've had very good negotiations today with Iran, getting a lot of the things that they should have
00:26given us a long time ago.
00:28We'll see how it works out. But they're very good, moving along very nicely.
00:32They've destroyed a lot of additional targets today. The Navy's gone. The Air Force has gone. We know that.
00:38But we destroyed many, many targets today. It was a big day. And we are negotiating with them directly and
00:45indirectly.
00:47As you know, they've agreed to send eight boats two days ago and then they added another two.
00:55So it was 10 boats. And now today they gave us as a tribute.
01:01I don't know. I can't define it exactly. But they gave us, I think out of a sign of respect,
01:0820 boats of oil, big, big boats of oil going through the Hormuz Strait.
01:14And that's taking place starting tomorrow morning.
01:18I would only say that we're doing extremely well in that negotiation.
01:23But you never know with Iran because we negotiate with them and then we always have to blow them up,
01:29whether it's the B-2 bombers or just terminating as an example,
01:34the Iran nuclear deal done by Barack Hussein Obama, probably the worst deal we've ever done as a country.
01:40One of the dumbest deals we've ever done.
01:42Trump's remarks follow his statement on Thursday, where he noted that Iran was permitting 10 oil tankers to transit the
01:49key global oil artery as a goodwill gesture amid ongoing negotiations.
01:54Well, I will give him the discussion.
01:59Thank you, Dr.
