00:03 - I'm sure you have seen the clips from yesterday
00:06 and today of Trevor Lawrence
00:08 at the media portion of Jaguars practice.
00:11 - More importantly, I saw clips of the game
00:15 and the game in the replay.
00:16 And when the world was going crazy in game,
00:20 we were saying, and even a Twitter live chat
00:23 before overtime, this is not serious.
00:26 Yes, he limped off.
00:27 This is not a fracture.
00:29 This is not surgery.
00:30 This is not IR.
00:31 This is not long-term.
00:33 And as a matter of fact, I said it Monday night
00:35 that he's got a chance to play this next game.
00:38 And that's where we are right now.
00:40 Look, he got a lot better
00:42 from the Monday night game to Thursday.
00:44 Now, and he's better today.
00:46 And Thursday to Sunday is the same amount of time.
00:49 So he will get better and better.
00:51 Mark my words.
00:52 Number one, he is not a game time decision.
00:56 He is a coaching decision.
00:58 If this were the playoffs or the Super Bowl,
01:01 Trevor Lawrence would 100% play.
01:05 Now, will he be 100% if he plays?
01:08 No.
01:09 Thus, it's a coaching decision.
01:11 Our opponents, our record,
01:14 how confident do we feel in the left tackle
01:16 since Walker Little is out
01:17 and Cam Robinson was already out?
01:20 Do we, you know, are we comfortable out of shotgun,
01:22 ball out quick?
01:24 We got to protect our guy
01:25 'cause in the long run,
01:26 we're going nowhere without Trevor Lawrence.
01:28 But if we can eke out a game safely with him,
01:31 we control our division,
01:33 we control the tiebreakers,
01:34 we're up by a game and we have all the tiebreakers,
01:37 we can play it safe.
01:38 It is a coaching decision.
01:40 Medically, physically, I think he can play.
01:43 Not to 100%.
01:45 But it's going to be up to Doug Peterson.
01:47 And I'll bet you Trevor Lawrence
01:48 will lobby him hard Sunday morning.
