00:04 The Manchester Christmas Book Gift Appeal has opened for 2023, giving you the chance
00:09 to send money towards buying books for children in the city.
00:13 During last year's festive period alone, the book gifting campaign distributed more than
00:17 10,000 books to 89 of the city's community organisations.
00:22 An area within Mosesgate Country Park in Bolton is set to be designated a space for families
00:28 who have lost loved ones as a result of mental health issues.
00:31 Bolton Council has this week published a report on the idea for the park, suggested by a resident
00:37 who lost a family member to suicide.
00:40 And finally, a new fried chicken shop backed by popular YouTubers, The Sidemen, will open
00:45 at Manchester Arndale this weekend.
00:47 Sides will officially open its doors on Saturday 25th November.
