00:42 Allahumma Salli 'Ala Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadin 'Ala Aali Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadin wa Barik wa Sallim
00:50 Assalamu Alaikum, I am your host, Muhammad Rais Ahmed
00:55 and we are presenting the program, Roshni for All.
00:58 You know that we are here with different topics.
01:02 Today, we are discussing the topic of "Islah-e-Qalb" (Heart Reformation)
01:05 If we look at the world, we see that we are always trying to reform everything.
01:11 We are trying to make our social status better, our clothing better.
01:18 Our relations are better than they are today.
01:22 And we see that we are always trying to improve and reform.
01:28 If we see that there is a lack of heedlessness, then it is the heart.
01:32 How can we reform the heart?
01:35 And how can we be inclined towards this?
01:38 Today, we will talk about "Islah-e-Qalb" (Heart Reformation)
01:40 This is a very important topic.
01:42 Allah gave the people of Allah a pure heart.
01:45 And they were given so many ranks and statuses that we still mention them with great respect.
01:51 In Surah Al-Shura, when it came to Prophet Abraham, it was said that
01:58 "O Lord of the worlds, the day when neither wealth nor children will be of use,
02:05 it will be only the one who will come to you with a pure heart."
02:10 This means that the heart is also very important.
02:15 Prophet Abraham is the father of all prophets.
02:18 So, as Muslims, we need to think about this.
02:21 When we focus on everything in the world,
02:25 then why don't we focus on the reformation of the heart?
02:29 Whereas, the Sufis have given the first teachings on purifying the heart,
02:33 purifying the soul and purifying the heart.
02:36 And this is the message of the Quran for us.
02:38 We will talk about this topic.
02:40 It is a very important topic.
02:42 And it is not something that you can forget by listening to it in a normal way.
02:46 You have to listen to it and implement it on yourself.
02:49 And then, God willing, you have to see its effects and benefits in your life.
02:53 Today, we have with us the famous and respected Falimuddin Allama Mufti Irshad Hussain Saeedi.
02:57 He is with us after a long time.
02:59 He says very beautiful words.
03:01 He is a very knowledgeable person.
03:04 Please come.
03:05 Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
03:08 And my left hand side, the famous and respected Falimuddin Allama Mufti Muhammad Asif.
03:12 Please come.
03:13 He is a very great scholar.
03:15 He has a very good way of speaking.
03:17 He has a very good knowledge of Fiqh.
03:19 He says very beautiful words.
03:21 Please come.
03:22 Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
03:24 Both of you have a good introduction.
03:26 Okay, Mufti sahib, let's start with you.
03:28 We will talk about the reality of the heart.
03:30 And the relation of the heart to the human mind,
03:32 which is very important. I want you to start with that.
03:35 Thank you very much, Mr. President.
03:37 It is a very important question.
03:39 And what you said in the intro that today the need is that we should analyze our heart,
03:43 the condition of the heart and its conditions.
03:47 And how it can be improved from the perspective of religion and faith.
03:51 We should also think about that.
03:53 As far as the word heart is concerned,
03:55 its literal meaning is that such things that keep changing,
03:59 that keep changing.
04:01 So, there is a meaning of change in it.
04:03 So, its application is from the perspective that
04:06 if the heart is taken as a physical organ,
04:12 then its size does not remain at one condition,
04:16 but it keeps changing because it has to pump blood for the whole body.
04:21 So, that's why we call it heartbeat.
04:23 So, when the heart is beating or pumping,
04:26 its size shrinks and expands.
04:29 So, that's why it is a change, it is not fixed at one condition.
04:32 So, the Sufis and the scholars also said that
04:37 just like there is a concept of the heart as a physical organ,
04:41 similarly there is a spiritual heart.
04:44 If we call it the physical heart, then the other is the spiritual heart.
04:48 So, the spiritual heart, its condition and condition also change.
04:53 For example, today we are feeling good,
04:55 tomorrow we are not feeling good about the same thing.
04:57 The next day we are feeling the same thing.
04:59 So, its condition, condition, desire, and desire also change.
05:05 So, it is believed to change in this in the context of the linguistic meaning.
05:09 Then if we look at the heart from the religious perspective,
05:13 then the heart is related to both faith and spirituality.
05:17 It is related to faith that
05:19 "Ikraarum bil-lisane wa tasdeekum bil-kalb"
05:22 You have to confess with the tongue and verify with the heart.
05:25 So, without the verification of the heart, no one can be a believer.
05:29 So, how big a role the heart has played,
05:31 that without the heart, no one can be a believer.
05:34 So, the verification of the heart is necessary for faith.
05:38 And similarly, as it is related to faith,
05:41 so it is also related to spirituality.
05:43 That Allah the Almighty sent the Prophet (PBUH)
05:46 and the four things that he stated as his objectives,
05:51 one of them is "Wa yuzakkeekum" that they purify you.
05:55 They purify your inner being.
05:58 And that inner being is meant by "Kalb".
06:00 Now, the word "Kalb" is used by the Quran
06:04 for the heart and "Fuad" is also used.
06:09 In the meaning of the heart, it is combined with "Afidatun".
06:12 So, it is combined.
06:13 So, this word also came for the heart.
06:15 And then the Quran at some places,
06:18 "Sadr" which means "chest",
06:21 it is also used as the heart or the place of the heart
06:25 and the heart's "Zarf".
06:28 Similarly, the word "Nafs" is used.
06:31 So, the word "Nafs" is also used in many places
06:34 in the meaning of the heart.
06:37 So, for the heart, there are two words "Fee Nafs"
06:41 "Kalb" and "Fuad".
06:43 But "Sadr" and "Nafs" are also used in its meaning.
06:46 Then the Quran at different places
06:49 has mentioned the eight attributes of the heart.
06:52 In that, there is also "Kalb-e-Saleem"
06:54 and "Kalb-e-Muneeb"
06:56 and then the Quran has mentioned many actions of this heart.
07:00 Like the Quran has mentioned
07:02 "Wa Mayu'azzim Sha'air Allah Fa'innaha Min Taqwal Qulub"
07:05 "Taddil Ka Taqwa"
07:07 which means "Taqwa of the heart".
07:09 So, this is the action of the heart.
07:10 So, it is the state and condition of the heart.
07:12 And if we see in the context of the Hadith of Jibrail,
07:14 when Jibrail came in the human form,
07:18 he asked the first question,
07:20 "What is Islam?"
07:21 So, you told the pillars of Islam.
07:23 "What is faith?"
07:24 So, you told the pillars of faith.
07:25 "What is the Day of Judgment?"
07:26 So, you answered it and told the signs.
07:28 And then the question was, "What is Ihsan?"
07:30 So, in response to Ihsan,
07:32 the Prophet (PBUH) mentioned the condition.
07:35 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu
07:38 fa ilam ta'kuntarahu fa innahu yaraka"
07:41 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
07:44 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
07:47 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
07:50 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
07:53 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
07:56 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
07:59 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:02 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:05 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:11 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:14 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:17 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:20 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:23 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:26 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:29 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:32 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:35 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:38 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:41 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:44 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:47 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:50 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:53 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
08:56 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:25 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:28 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:31 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:34 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:37 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:40 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:43 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:46 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:49 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:55 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
09:58 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
10:01 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
10:04 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
10:07 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
10:10 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
10:13 "Al Ihsanu an ta'budallaha ka'anna qatarahu fa innahu yaraka"
10:16 "Ibadat" means that it was created for knowledge.
10:19 And the basis of a person being a superior and superior creature
10:23 is that he has the ability to know Allah.
10:27 And through which he recognizes Allah.
10:30 Others do not have this ability, so on the basis of this ability
10:33 he is superior and superior to other creatures.
10:37 And then the result of this is that in the world
10:40 he becomes the cause of beauty, perfection and pride.
10:46 Obviously, that is why he is called superior.
10:49 He is called superior, so this is the cause of pride and perfection.
10:52 And in the hereafter, this divine knowledge is the asset of a person.
10:56 The more he knows the Creator of the Universe,
10:59 the more he will have knowledge of Him,
11:02 the closer he will be to Him.
11:05 And the closer he will be to Him,
11:07 the higher he will be in Paradise.
11:10 He will be chosen.
11:12 So the reality is that in the hereafter,
11:15 the knowledge of Allah is a means of salvation
11:18 and a means of a higher status.
11:21 Then this divine knowledge is the means of obtaining it,
11:24 which is the heart.
11:26 Now when the word "heart" comes,
11:28 Hazrat has explained it very well.
11:30 Obviously, the heart that beats with this is not meant.
11:34 Because the actions, attributes and conditions
11:38 that are mentioned in the Holy Quran and Ahadith
11:41 in reference to the heart,
11:44 are not its attributes.
11:46 Like the hardness and softness is the attribute of the heart.
11:49 The beating of the heart is mentioned as the attribute of the heart.
11:53 So this means that this heart,
11:55 that piece of meat is not meant here,
11:58 but something else is.
12:00 That something else is that,
12:02 about this Imam Ghazali (a.s)
12:04 has mentioned in "Haya l-Uloob"
12:06 that this is a spiritual, divine, subtle thing.
12:09 Meaning that it is a subtle thing.
12:11 It is not tangible, which you can see, touch and feel.
12:15 This is from Allah (swt)
12:17 in the matter of accepting the guidance
12:20 that is in the heart of a person.
12:22 This is a subtle thing.
12:24 It is certain that it is related to this physical heart.
12:28 The physical heart can be understood as
12:32 like the house is related to the house,
12:37 like the gold is related to the earth,
12:40 like the attributes are related to the attributes,
12:43 so these interrelations,
12:45 similarly the heart is related to the physical heart.
12:49 [Hassan] Ok, Mr. Mufti, if you allow,
12:51 we will take a break,
12:53 after the break we will listen to more words
12:56 of the Imam Ghazali (a.s)
12:58 and we will return after the break.
13:00 Stay with us.
13:02 Ok, Mr. Mufti, your "Islah-e-Qalb" is our topic today.
13:05 Qibla Mufti Irshad Hussain Saeedi
13:07 and Qibla Mufti Asif,
13:09 Mr. Muhammad Asif has come.
13:11 You were talking about the "Lateef-e-Qalb".
13:14 I would like to hear some of your words.
13:17 [Dr. Asif] I was saying that this is the heart
13:19 which is the place of Allah's address.
13:21 This is the place of His address
13:23 and these are the commands which are focused towards it.
13:28 And this is what recognizes the Creator of the Universe.
13:31 This is what attains the nearness of Allah.
13:33 This is what acts for Allah's heart
13:35 and attains the "Parsaee" in the court of Allah.
13:38 And as a result, Allah the Almighty
13:41 sends His lights and manifestations on this heart.
13:44 Now the question is that here,
13:46 the question arises that
13:48 the other organs and the organs which are pressing,
13:51 are the ones which are the source of the actions.
13:54 But it is obvious that
13:56 the hands and feet of a human being cannot be addressed.
13:59 The one who has the ability to understand the words,
14:03 can take the meaning from them,
14:06 can reach the meaning of the speaker,
14:09 and then can adopt the style of action according to it.
14:13 So this is the heart itself.
14:15 And the whole address is focused towards the heart
14:18 and the state and form of the other organs is such that
14:22 the heart is like the king, like the king of the other organs.
14:26 So it is like the ruler and the heart accepts this guidance
14:30 and then takes action from the organs.
14:33 So if the heart is sound,
14:35 then the sound heart will take action from the organs
14:38 which is the nature of the nature which it requires.
14:41 And Allah the Almighty's guidance
14:43 and His beloved Prophet's Sunnah Tayyaba
14:46 and His Seerat Tayyaba also require it.
14:49 And similarly, if the heart is not sound and is disobedient,
14:53 then this heart is obedient and its lights are visible in the actions.
14:59 And this heart is also the victim of darkness
15:02 and its darkness is visible in the actions of a human being.
15:06 It is known that it can be said that
15:10 whatever is in the vessel, it is the one which is flowing.
15:13 So if it is the one which accepts lightness
15:17 and there can be many reasons for it.
15:20 It can be the company, it can be the acquisition of knowledge
15:23 and other results of contemplation and thought
15:26 are found in the attributes of Allah the Almighty.
15:29 As a result, this heart, by correcting the heart,
15:32 means that the heart cannot be corrected.
15:34 It is as it is.
15:35 Actually, when we are talking about the reformation of the heart,
15:38 then we mean the reformation of the state of the heart.
15:41 We are related to its attributes.
15:44 If it is associated with good attributes,
15:46 then its best effect will be visible in the actions of the heart.
15:50 Its lights and manifestations will be seen in the form of good character.
15:54 And if it is the victim of darkness,
15:57 then it is obvious that it is a disobedient heart
16:00 and then it will have an effect on the actions
16:03 and we will see it in the form of evil.
16:05 Very good.
16:06 That is, for the good and bad things that the body and the body are doing,
16:10 for the good and bad things that are happening,
16:13 it is very important to have a pure heart.
16:16 One is the term of a pure heart and the other is the term of a disobedient heart.
16:20 What does this mean?
16:21 What do we mean by a disobedient heart?
16:23 We are just like the name of someone,
16:25 if his name is Muneeb, then we will go.
16:27 What does the word 'Muneeb' mean here?
16:29 The word 'Muneeb' is from 'Inabat'
16:31 and this is used in a blessed verse of the Holy Quran.
16:36 "And Allah chooses for many a guide, and He guides him who turns to Him."
16:50 So whoever turns to Him,
16:52 the word 'Inabat' was used there.
16:55 So 'Inabat-e-Qalb' is that the heart turns to Allah.
17:00 The heart should be inclined to Allah.
17:02 So we have obtained the meaning from 'Qalb-e-Muneeb'
17:05 that the heart that is always inclined to Allah,
17:09 the heart that is always engaged in Allah,
17:12 the heart that is always in the remembrance of Allah,
17:15 and is always protecting the obedience and obedience of Allah,
17:20 and is living his life in the same thought,
17:24 and as a result of that,
17:26 the actions are removed from the organs, the body.
17:30 We can understand this like this.
17:32 There is a word in Arabic, 'Aynun',
17:38 it means 'eye',
17:40 but there is another word 'Basar',
17:42 it is the power of seeing that eye.
17:45 But people generally in simple translation call 'Basar' as 'eye'
17:49 and 'Aynun' as 'eye'
17:51 'Aynun' means that, as the Prophet said,
17:54 that is the house, that is the place, that is the container,
17:57 the power that Allah has placed in it is 'Basar'.
18:00 Like the word 'Kaan' is 'Uzun',
18:02 then the word used for it is 'Sama', 'to hear'.
18:05 So that 'Kaan' has the power and ability to hear.
18:09 So like this, the heart that Allah has given us,
18:13 and Allah has placed some potential in that heart as well.
18:17 Like 'Aynun' has a potential, a capability,
18:21 like 'Kaan' 'Uzun' has a capability.
18:24 Similarly, the word 'Dimaag', 'brain' is used,
18:28 it is the physical organ of a human being,
18:31 of his body.
18:32 But what is inside it?
18:33 It is 'Zahanat', we say it is 'Zaheen'.
18:36 So that 'Zahanat', that 'Aql' is inside that brain.
18:41 Similarly, this heart,
18:43 Allah has placed different elements in this heart as well,
18:46 He has placed different attributes in it,
18:48 it has its actions as well,
18:49 and because of this, it has its accountability as well.
18:51 So the different attributes of the heart,
18:53 one of those attributes is that this heart can be 'Inabat' as well.
18:57 If we want to make it, then it will become 'Qalb-e-Munib'.
19:00 So then whatever a person sees, whatever he hears,
19:03 whatever he faces,
19:05 in every matter, he will turn towards Allah.
19:08 He will see that what is the pleasure of my Lord in it.
19:12 So in this respect, the Sufis,
19:14 again they have described three types of hearts,
19:17 from another angle.
19:18 They said that one is those hearts which are attached to the world.
19:22 Those hearts which are attached to the world,
19:25 are in the world only,
19:27 and they are in the desires,
19:29 in the desires, there is wealth, there is the world,
19:31 there is greed, there is lust,
19:32 they are in that only.
19:33 So these are the hearts which are attached to the world.
19:36 Then they said that there are some hearts,
19:38 which are related to spirituality,
19:41 or say, they are related to the hereafter.
19:43 So those who are related to the hereafter,
19:45 or are related to the hereafter,
19:47 are related to the hereafter,
19:49 they think about the preparation of the hereafter,
19:51 there are good deeds in it, there is heaven in it,
19:53 there is salvation in it, there is success in it,
19:55 they are in the thought of that.
19:56 Then the third heart,
19:57 which is among the close relatives of Allah,
20:00 which are of a higher rank,
20:01 the rank of which has been described,
20:04 that what is it?
20:05 They are related to the Lord.
20:07 They are attached to Allah.
20:09 Therefore, the love of their true beloved has made them eager towards Him.
20:14 So those hearts which are attached to the Lord,
20:17 which are attached to Allah,
20:20 and are attached to the remembrance of Allah,
20:22 then they are the Qalb-e-Muneeb.
20:24 Those hearts which have left everything and have become eager to Allah,
20:29 and have remained as Allah's,
20:31 then those hearts are called Qalb-e-Muneeb.
20:33 Ok, we can say,
20:34 there is a question in relation to this,
20:35 that the Qalb-e-Muneeb has a higher rank than the Qalb-e-Saleem.
20:38 What is your opinion on this?
20:39 No, the Qalb-e-Saleem has a higher rank.
20:42 Because the Qalb-e-Muneeb is the one who is going to turn towards Allah.
20:46 But the Qalb-e-Saleem is the one who has turned towards Allah and has been accepted by Allah.
20:50 He has attained that destination.
20:52 So therefore, the Qalb-e-Saleem,
20:54 that is why,
20:55 what you quoted in the Ayat-e-Mubarakah,
20:57 Allah Almighty said that
20:58 that one who has succeeded,
20:59 the Qalb-e-Saleem,
21:00 That day I don't want to be disgraced.
21:02 The day when neither wealth nor children will be of any use.
21:04 No, wealth and children will not be of any use.
21:06 And he has succeeded.
21:08 The one who has brought the Qalb-e-Saleem to the court of Allah.
21:11 So the Qalb-e-Muneeb is a beginner.
21:15 And the Qalb-e-Saleem is the one who has attained his destination.
21:18 The one who has reached the level at which the Qalb should be.
21:23 That is his destination.
21:24 That is the Qalb-e-Saleem.
21:25 What a great thing.
21:26 Okay, a very important question in this regard.
21:28 Many people,
21:29 surely this question is ringing in their minds.
21:31 When the application of Shariah is on the surface,
21:34 and all of this is said that the application of Shariah is on the surface,
21:37 so,
21:38 we will ask Mufti sahab,
21:41 why is the reformation of the inner self necessary?
21:43 This is a very important question.
21:45 What will you say to this question, Mufti sahab?
21:46 Some part of this is already mentioned in the answer to the first question.
21:50 That the same thing comes out of the pot,
21:52 which is there in it.
21:53 So the real thing is, who is the addressee?
21:56 The essence of the Shariah's commandments,
21:59 the essence of everything is not only from the physical body,
22:05 but also from the physical body.
22:07 But the question is, who is the addressee?
22:09 Who is the subject of the discussion?
22:11 The discussion is with the Qalb.
22:13 He is the addressee,
22:14 and he accepts and then he rules over the physical body,
22:18 and through the physical body,
22:20 all those actions are accepted.
22:22 So, the essence is,
22:23 until the reformation of the Qalb is not done,
22:26 then the actions of righteousness cannot be seen outside.
22:29 Because he is the foundation,
22:31 he accepts the guidance,
22:33 he reaches the level of 'Inabat',
22:35 he reaches the level of 'Salamati'
22:37 and he attains the highest station.
22:40 So, the result of this Qalb itself is manifested in the form of the actions of righteousness.
22:44 As it is mentioned in the Hadith of the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
22:47 that "At-Taqwa ha'ahuna"
22:50 So, the Prophet (pbuh) pointed towards the Qalb,
22:54 that Taqwa is here.
22:56 So, the physical actions also give the sign of Taqwa,
23:00 but the real source,
23:02 the source and the source is the Divine Subtlety,
23:08 as a result of which the actions of righteousness are manifested.
23:11 This is the reason that the reformation of the Qalb
23:14 has been emphasized on its importance.
23:17 And the basic attributes,
23:19 that is, the understanding of the inner sin is very important in this regard.
23:22 But, two divisions have been made in this,
23:24 that one should know the duties of the Qalb,
23:26 and one should avoid them,
23:27 because the logic of duty is forbidden.
23:29 Therefore, humility and humility are among the duties of the Qalb,
23:32 and this is the inner attribute.
23:34 Similarly, sincerity is among the duties of the Qalb,
23:37 and this is the inner attribute.
23:39 And similarly, trust is the duty of the Qalb,
23:41 and this is the inner attribute.
23:43 And the result of this will be that
23:45 if these attributes are born in a person,
23:48 then the division of the inner attributes is necessary.
23:51 That if a person is seen to be a person of humility and humility,
23:55 which is a duty,
23:57 and this is a matter of the Qalb,
23:58 it has nothing to do with the physical action,
24:00 it will be formed later when the expression of humility and humility will take place.
24:02 But first of all,
24:03 this Qalb is associated with humility and humility.
24:06 So, when the person is a person of humility and humility,
24:08 then humility and self-satisfaction are formed.
24:11 The attitude towards one's own self is no longer related to perfection.
24:15 So, if a person is not in the initial stage of attitude towards his own self,
24:19 then he is far from arrogance.
24:21 Arrogance tells him to relate to perfection towards himself,
24:25 and to know the other person as inferior.
24:27 So, arrogance,
24:28 he is not considering himself to be perfect in the first stage.
24:31 Similarly, when wealth is obtained from the wealth of sincerity,
24:34 and this Qalb becomes full of light,
24:37 then the filth of Riya leaves his heart,
24:40 and his action becomes purely for Allah.
24:43 And, Tawakkul,
24:45 "Wa 'ala Allahi fal yatawakkalil mu'minun"
24:47 "If a believer is there, he will trust in Allah only."
24:50 So, if trust is visible,
24:52 then it is a sign of perfect faith.
24:54 This means that
24:55 complete trust in Allah the Almighty
24:58 will result in jealousy and hatred.
25:03 One will find himself satisfied with Allah's distribution.
25:06 He will never be seen objecting.
25:08 So, when these attributes are born in a person's heart,
25:11 which should be born,
25:12 and as a result,
25:13 the thing which should be born, will be born,
25:16 then what will be the result of that?
25:18 If a person is full of arrogance,
25:22 then what will he do?
25:24 He will consider himself to be superior spiritually,
25:27 and consider the other person as inferior,
25:28 and the effect of this will be visible in his surroundings,
25:31 the effect of his hatred will also be visible,
25:33 and the expression of his superiority and superiority will also be necessary,
25:37 which will harm people.
25:39 And if this person's thinking changes,
25:41 if there is a change in the heart,
25:43 and if he becomes a bearer of humility and humility,
25:45 then in the next stage,
25:46 his actions will start showing people's respect,
25:50 and the people in the surrounding
25:52 will not only be protected from his harm,
25:54 but their respect and dignity will also be enhanced.
25:57 So, this means that
25:58 if we do not correct our inner states,
26:03 then even if some of the physical actions are visible,
26:07 they are hollow,
26:08 and they are standing on the brink of destruction.
26:11 The last thing that the Prophet (pbuh) pointed out to this,
26:15 he said that jealousy eats good deeds like fire eats wood.
26:20 Now, this means that jealousy is called the inner evil,
26:23 this is a mental illness,
26:25 so it is eating the physical action,
26:27 and destroying it in such a way that
26:29 it turns fire into wood,
26:32 and then it is not capable of anything.
26:34 So, this means that
26:35 the physical harm is caused by the physical good deeds,
26:40 which a person has done,
26:42 and has trusted,
26:43 and this is the cause of his destruction.
26:45 So, the summary is that
26:46 until the physical is not treated,
26:48 until this heart is not protected from good qualities,
26:52 it is impossible for good deeds to be done outside.
26:55 Very good.
26:56 We will return after a short break,
26:58 please stay with us.
26:59 Sir, first of all,
27:00 your reformation of the heart is our topic today,
27:02 and all the discussions you have heard so far,
27:04 you must have reached this conclusion,
27:06 and this question must be knocking on your mind,
27:09 that what is meant by the reformation of the heart,
27:13 and what method should be adopted,
27:16 that whatever has happened, has happened,
27:18 now if we want to do the reformation of the heart,
27:21 what methods can be used for that?
27:22 Mufti Sahib, please tell us.
27:24 Yes, definitely, the summary we are coming to,
27:28 there is a message in it,
27:29 and that message is for all of us,
27:31 and is important.
27:33 The reformation of the heart,
27:34 and purification of the heart,
27:36 or purification of the inner self,
27:38 the titles are different.
27:40 As Hazrat has said,
27:42 the heart,
27:43 it can be understood that it can have different diseases.
27:47 So a heart will be that,
27:49 which the Quran also says,
27:50 "Qalb-e-Mareed, Fazaadahumul-Lahu Ma-Rada"
27:54 that those who have a disease in their heart,
27:56 and Allah has increased their disease.
27:58 So it means that,
27:59 just as the body has diseases,
28:01 the heart also has diseases.
28:03 And the diseases of the body are different,
28:06 and the diseases of the heart are different.
28:08 So those diseases of the heart,
28:10 when a person cures them,
28:13 and makes his heart healthy,
28:16 then a healthy heart,
28:18 becomes the centre and love of Allah's light and manifestation.
28:22 So the person who removes the diseases of his heart,
28:26 and makes his heart healthy,
28:28 then it means that he has purified his heart,
28:32 he has made his heart healthy,
28:34 he has made his heart powerful,
28:36 he has purified his heart,
28:37 he has purified it.
28:39 And this is also a sign in the same verse,
28:41 which Allah the Almighty has said,
28:42 "Wa yuzakkikum"
28:44 that my Prophet (pbuh) recites my verses to you,
28:48 and purifies you.
28:50 That purification is of the inner self.
28:52 So therefore, he purifies you.
28:55 The heart is purified,
28:58 the purification is initiated
29:00 by intention and intention.
29:02 See, when we pray, it is by intention.
29:04 When we perform Hajj, it is by intention.
29:06 When we do Zakat, it is by intention.
29:08 When we fast, it is by intention.
29:10 All good deeds are done by intention.
29:13 Now the question is, where did that intention come from?
29:15 What is the source of intention?
29:17 Where does intention come from?
29:18 Where does it take birth from?
29:19 Where does it come from?
29:20 Has that intention come from the intellect?
29:23 So, intention does not come from the intellect.
29:25 Intention and intention come from the heart.
29:28 This is the attribute of the heart.
29:29 So, Allah the Almighty has given the universe existence
29:32 by His intention.
29:34 So therefore, the light of that intention
29:37 is put on the heart of the believer.
29:40 So then the intention of that heart is purified.
29:43 And when his intention and intention are purified,
29:45 then the work of his reformation has begun.
29:47 Therefore, all the deeds and worships
29:50 are based on intention.
29:51 If the intention was good, as the Prophet said,
29:54 that intention should be purified by the work of good deeds.
29:56 So, when there is no work of good deeds in the good deeds,
29:59 the intention is pure,
30:01 then the heart is purified by that disease
30:03 and the journey of its purification has begun.
30:06 Similarly, after having good intentions and good intentions
30:09 behind those good deeds,
30:11 then all the diseases,
30:12 now it is difficult to summarize all of them in one conversation,
30:15 so if we list them one by one,
30:18 we can see practically,
30:20 what diseases can be there in the heart.
30:24 For example, jealousy can be there in the heart for someone.
30:27 Similarly, someone's bad intention can be there in the heart.
30:30 There can be a desire,
30:32 love for wealth,
30:33 love for the world.
30:35 So, if it is written one by one,
30:37 then keep breaking it,
30:39 and work hard to purify your heart from it.
30:42 And get that light from the Quran,
30:44 get that light from the biography of the Prophet,
30:47 get that light from the Hadith,
30:49 and get it from the knowledge of the saints and the righteous,
30:51 and as far as possible,
30:53 get the company of the righteous.
30:55 So, as a result of that,
30:57 the diseases of the heart will continue to end,
30:59 and the heart will be healthy,
31:01 then it will be purified,
31:03 then when the house will be clean and clean,
31:07 then its glory will be there.
31:09 You and I do not live in that house,
31:11 where there is a mess,
31:13 where there is filth, diseases,
31:15 then Allah said that the heart of a believer is my glory,
31:19 so if we are the seekers of it,
31:21 and should be the seekers,
31:23 that the light of Allah should settle in our hearts,
31:25 then it will be there only when it will be clean and pure.
31:28 When it will be clean and pure,
31:30 then its glory will be there,
31:31 its light and its glories will be there.
31:33 That is why the Sufis and Urafas,
31:35 who purify the heart,
31:37 and purify their mind,
31:39 then their hearts,
31:41 they will be connected to the throne of Allah.
31:44 And when they are connected to the throne of Allah,
31:46 then in them,
31:48 no one else comes to mind,
31:50 no one else's thoughts come,
31:52 no one else's desire is there,
31:54 and this is the point of perfection of Tauheed,
31:57 that the heart should be purified for Allah.
32:00 And the way Allah has given the soul to man,
32:04 in the same way He has given the soul to him,
32:06 now the soul is a symbol of goodness,
32:08 and the soul is a symbol of evil to mislead man.
32:12 Now the soul and the ego,
32:16 the one who wants to bring man in its circle,
32:20 then they have only two things,
32:22 one is the mind and the other is the heart.
32:25 So if the soul has an effect on the mind and the heart,
32:28 then the journey to Allah will begin.
32:31 And if the ego has an effect on the mind and the heart,
32:35 then it will go towards the path of lust and Satan.
32:39 So we have to make our mind and our heart,
32:42 follow the soul,
32:44 make them a slave to the soul,
32:46 and the soul opens the door,
32:48 it brings the heart to Allah,
32:50 and when this heart meets Allah,
32:53 then it is purified from all kinds of evil.
32:56 Or purify it from all kinds of evil,
32:58 and then settle it,
33:00 or settle it and its love fire,
33:02 will turn all evil into lust and lust.
33:05 Subhanallah, Subhanallah.
33:07 Wow, wow.
33:08 "Ala bi dhikrillahi tatma'innul quloob"
33:10 This is a clear verse.
33:12 So this is a kind of line of direction for us,
33:15 that how can our hearts find peace,
33:19 a restlessness and a frustration that we see in our lives,
33:23 the desires of the heart,
33:24 the heart wants this, the heart wants that,
33:26 do it this way,
33:27 these are all things.
33:28 But what is it,
33:29 that the discussion that has taken place today,
33:31 you feel from it,
33:32 where are we making mistakes.
33:34 What message will you give, Mufti Sahib?
33:36 Because we often hear this,
33:38 and it is said, "Islah-e-Aamal"
33:40 "Islah-e-Aamal"
33:41 This topic is very much.
33:42 Talking about "Islah-e-Qalb"
33:43 This is a method of Sufism,
33:46 that they have talked about this.
33:48 What will you say?
33:49 Look, the first thing for this is "Sohbat"
33:51 that if we get a good and easy "Sohbat",
33:53 then we should feel the importance of something.
33:56 A person takes a step towards something,
33:58 only when the importance of that thing,
34:01 is manifested in front of him in any degree,
34:03 whether it is in the form of providing benefits,
34:05 or in the form of saving him from any harm.
34:07 So, until these things are not clear,
34:10 until then, a step will not be taken towards it,
34:12 or a desire will not be born in the heart.
34:14 So, how will it be,
34:15 that until we are not connected to that environment,
34:18 whether it is through the books,
34:20 or through the words of Allah,
34:21 or through the foundation of the relationship,
34:23 or through the biography of the Prophet,
34:24 or through the company of the righteous,
34:27 if we create this reason,
34:29 then a person can go somewhere and move towards this,
34:32 that "Islah-e-Qalb" is also something,
34:34 and in reality, it is the platform of salvation,
34:37 and as a result of that,
34:39 a person can reach the level of perfection,
34:41 and can attain the special nearness of Allah.
34:44 So, all this information,
34:45 he will get on the basis of "Sohbat".
34:47 When we create a reason,
34:49 when the importance of something is created,
34:51 then a step will be taken towards it.
34:52 - What message would you like to give,
34:54 I want to hear a one-liner about today's topic.
34:56 - See, the message of today's topic is that,
34:58 "Come, do not just keep your bodies,
35:01 but keep your hearts clean."
35:02 - Wow, wow, wow.
35:03 - "We should also think about cleaning our inner purity,
35:05 and purification of that, and to keep it clean."
35:07 "And faith can remain strong and stable in that form,
35:11 when we reform our hearts,
35:13 and connect our hearts with the heart."
35:15 - Wow.
35:16 - "And if the heart is not inclined towards the beloved,
35:18 and is not inclined towards the true beloved,
35:21 then this heart does not take care of itself.
35:24 And when it does not take care of itself,
35:26 then it makes a person do a lot of things,
35:28 which may result in nothing but disgrace,
35:31 at the time of death and at the time of grave."
35:34 "So come, to save ourselves from the loss of that past,
35:39 we should take care of it today."
35:41 "And the care is to keep the heart clean and pure,
35:45 and make it such a clean home,
35:47 that it can become a place of light and manifestation of Allah."
35:50 - Wow, wow.
35:51 - "And that will only happen,
35:52 when our actions will be in accordance with the Sunnah of the Master."
35:55 - Sure, sure.
35:56 - "Our beliefs will be in accordance with the Quran and Hadith."
35:59 "Our entire lifestyle,
36:01 we should dedicate it to Allah."
36:03 - Wow.
36:04 - "Then spring comes in our hearts."
36:05 - Wow.
36:06 - "And that spring,
36:07 then it gives us four moons,
36:08 here and there."
36:09 - Wow.
36:10 I would like to thank you very much,
36:11 for your visit,
36:12 for coming before me.
36:13 Thank you very much.
36:14 In the human body,
36:15 an organ which is called the heart,
36:17 or the heart,
36:18 or the heart,
36:19 it is not just a blood circulation organ.
36:24 The heart of a believer,
36:26 has many subtleties,
36:28 as Mufti Sahib has said,
36:29 and what we have discussed today.
36:31 So, try, after today,
36:32 after watching this program,
36:34 InshAllah,
36:35 we will reform the heart.
36:36 We are always busy in reforming our physical appearance,
36:39 but if we reform our inner self,
36:41 then our every action,
36:42 will be very transparent,
36:44 very clear,
36:45 and will be in accordance with the Shariah.
36:47 With this message,
36:48 I would like to take your leave,
36:49 from my guest, Muhammad Rais Ahmed.
36:50 Allah Hafiz.
36:52 May Allah bless you.
36:53 May Allah bless you.
36:55 May Allah bless you.
36:57 May Allah bless you.
36:59 May Allah bless you.
37:01 May Allah bless you.
37:03 May Allah bless you.
37:05 May Allah bless you.
37:07 May Allah bless you.
37:09 May Allah bless you.
37:11 May Allah bless you.
37:13 May Allah bless you.
