10-year-old boy dies at school after being trapped under lift

A 10-year-old boy has died at a Sydney school after being trapped under a lift.

00:00 Emergency services were called here to St. Lucie School for Disabled Children about 2pm

00:06 with reports a boy was trapped under an elevator and was seriously injured.

00:12 When emergency crews arrived they tried to save that 10 year old boy but sadly he was

00:17 pronounced dead at the scene.

00:19 Now we have since learned that he somehow became trapped under an elevator, it's not

00:23 known yet exactly what type of lift or elevator that is.

00:27 Now emergency crews are still working on a recovery mission here, it is quite an extensive

00:34 operation.

00:35 Parents at the school have been notified, obviously there will be an extensive investigation
