Meet the wedding dog chaperone who makes £2.5k-a-month by being a pooch plus one on couples' big day.

Olivia Thompson, 24, walked dogs for extra cash during her lunch break before going travelling in November last year.

When she came back she was figuring out what she wanted to do and discovered being around dogs made her happiest and she had an obsession with weddings.

00:00 Today's venue was in Airdrie in Scotland, it was called Eden Leisure Village and this
00:03 was Neo who we were looking after today.
00:06 So before the ceremony we headed on a nice hours long walk.
00:11 Luckily the venue had a really nice walk on site so we didn't have to travel too far.
00:15 This was him trying to give me a nice big cuddle.
00:18 But yeah luckily the walks were really nice and then we actually had to walk down the
00:21 aisle together and then he sat until the bride came down the aisle and then I took him outside.
00:27 This was the couple getting married which was really nice and this was a little snippet
00:31 of the venue.
00:32 It was a really nice venue, it was quite relaxed, quite chilled out.
00:36 After the ceremony we then headed to get some photographs so I help assist with the photographs
00:40 with the photographer so that they don't have to stress about getting a good photo and then
00:44 we took him back to get some lunch and chill out.
00:48 This was him with his little goodie bag that he got because he booked my gold package and
00:51 then it was time to sort of chill out so he had a little sleep because he'd had quite
00:55 an intense afternoon and I just sat and watched a little movie on my iPad.
00:59 Once he woke up he was ready to have his snuggles.
01:01 He was a typical Labrador, he loved a cuddle and to be honest I was pretty happy with that.
01:07 He was a nice big cuddler.
01:08 But I took this video and I thought it was really funny because he's like "um who is
01:13 this?"
01:14 Luckily I also got fed, they had a really nice barbecue on site and then we headed for
01:18 some more photographs after we've had some chill time and by that point it was time for
01:22 me to go so I took him another little walk beforehand and then handed him over to the
01:26 guests.
01:40 I'm actually on my way to be a dog wedding chaperone for one of my clients who booked
01:47 me in.
01:48 So inside my dog walking bag I have my treats and my Coco Pup.
01:53 In here I've actually got Skypaws fish training treats, they're just little small ones, they
01:58 fit perfectly.
01:59 I also have some hand sanitiser, some air pods just in case there's any free time that
02:06 I can just sit and chill with the dog.
02:09 We've got some poo bags, these are my favourite poo bags.
02:12 In here also a little squeaker, my whistle which I probably won't actually really need
02:20 because I will be keeping the dog on lead when we're on our walks.
02:23 I have some business cards just in case.
02:26 I carry a lint roller in case the dog sheds onto any of the guests outfits, they can sort
02:32 of get all the hair off which I think is a really good idea.
02:35 Obviously a little fold up water bowl and we've got plenty of water as well.
02:41 Another thing that I also give them is a little natural treat goodie bag if they choose my
02:45 gold package.
02:46 So in here we have some Skypaws training treats, a little chicken foot and a lamb braid as
02:52 well with a little business card so it looks super cute.
02:56 So this morning we had Penny, Murphy and Lockie all booked in for my 10.30 group walk.
03:03 Penny is just an ad hoc client so we don't see her too often but she had lots of fun
03:07 meeting these two this morning and then we headed off to our 12.30 group.
03:12 I had my first group of four since restarting my business so I was a little bit nervous
03:17 but it actually went really well.
03:19 They were all really well behaved and they all had lots of zoomies however Theo was not
03:23 feeling it today.
03:25 He just wanted to chill with me but that was totally fine.
03:27 He was just watching them zoom in, he's not a big fan of the rough place so he's just
03:33 a little king just sitting there.
03:34 Anyway, headed back to the car, Penny was knackered and then I headed to my two o'clock
03:40 solo with Fern.
03:42 She can be a little bit nervous in big groups so we just head out on her own in the afternoon.
03:47 By this point I was absolutely knackered, I'm not going to lie, I needed a coffee.
