00:02 - There was so much hope here in Miami with the heap,
00:05 especially the thought being that Lillard would be
00:09 in a Miami Heat uniform at this point.
00:11 That did not take place.
00:13 They lose Struis and Gabe Vincent,
00:15 couple of starters from the championship run a year ago.
00:19 So what gives?
00:20 45 and a half is the win total.
00:22 Pretty much the same team that made it to the finals
00:25 a year ago, except for Josh Richardson and Thomas Bryant,
00:28 I think are the new additions.
00:30 What do you think about the Heat's chances?
00:33 - You know, I think the big question for Miami
00:34 is where do we go from here?
00:36 You mentioned a Damian Lillard that was playing,
00:38 a Drew Holliday was probably the backup plan.
00:40 And both of those guys go to the Heat's direct competitors.
00:43 So now the road got even harder for this Heat team.
00:46 That being said, this is a Heat team where
00:48 the conversation is pretty similar every year.
00:50 As long as you have Jimmy Butler,
00:51 whatever emotional state he's in,
00:53 as long as you have Kyle Lowry,
00:55 who is still a championship level player,
00:57 we saw what he did in the postseason.
00:59 He's a year older, but still, he brings that to the table.
01:01 Tyler Hero is healthy again, Bam out of bio,
01:03 is gonna be a defensive player of the year,
01:05 a caliber player.
01:06 And then for Miami, it's always a guy who steps up.
01:08 Last year, it was Caleb Martin.
01:10 Maybe it's Haywood Highsmith this year.
01:12 Maybe it's a guy like Nikola Jovic,
01:14 or a guy like Jaime Jaquez, a rookie.
01:17 So I think this Heat team is going to find
01:19 regular season success.
01:20 As long as they stay healthy,
01:22 I think Jimmy Butler is very motivated to kind of,
01:25 the stubbornness that allows him to be as good as he is
01:27 is gonna allow him to lead this team
01:30 to a pretty solid record.
01:31 I don't know how well they'll do in the postseason,
01:33 but I do like them going past that windshield
01:35 just because of that Heat culture
01:37 that they always talk about.
