00:00The headliner is Kyle Harrison going from Boston to Milwaukee.
00:03Kyle Harrison was one of the top left-handed pitching prospects in the game when he was with San Francisco.
00:08He broke in. He kind of took his lumps, but you saw what everybody loved where it's a really low release, unorthodox low release, and then the fastball carries pretty darn well.
00:19So it's a fastball that kind of guides the ship for Kyle Harrison, but there's more work to be done.
00:24He's a really young guy, hasn't even turned 24 years old yet, I don't think, but he goes to Milwaukee now.
00:30Milwaukee, I'm not sure what they're doing from a position player side of things.
00:34Pitching, they're getting younger and they're getting better, and you think about the five-year plan of Mizorowski, Priester, Sprott, Kyle Harrison, Chad Patrick, Logan Henderson.
00:43You start to get really darn excited.
00:45Robert Gasser on top of that as well.
00:47There's so many arms at their disposal, and what's less interesting to me is evaluating Kyle Harrison because the Brewers are smarter than us, and if they like Kyle Harrison, good.
00:57But, right, Kyle Harrison was the top prospect.
01:00You know, he was one of the big headline pieces in the Devers trade for a reason.
01:04He's still young.
01:05He's got a lot of upside.
01:07Brewers want him.
01:08Take him.
01:09And it worked out for Quinn Priester going from Boston to Milwaukee.
01:13You have a feeling that it may work out for Kyle Harrison.
01:15When does it not work out for the Brewers when it comes to evaluating pitching?
01:19I know, I know.
01:20The only thing I want to say real quick on the position player side is Milwaukee, it smells like they have another move coming.
01:26Otherwise, you have to do some shuffling here because who's playing third base?
01:29Again, you traded Durbin and the Reserves.
01:31You traded Monasterio and Siegler.
01:33I think that they make a move for a second base type, and they have this, like, switch up where Joey Ortiz goes back to third.
01:41He played short in 25, and he played third in 24.
01:45I think there's a world that Terang plays shortstop for them.
01:48They could make a move for a shortstop, but they could pivot Terang from second to short.
01:51That's the position he played coming up.
01:53And then you've got a new second baseman or something like that.
01:56My brain thought, could they be the team to trade for Isak Paredes?
02:01And then in our Discord, which has been so much fun during the offseason, you can find the link to join the best baseball group chat in the world in the episode description.
02:09Yeah.
02:10DYM, who we always love chopping it off with, talks a lot about Marlins, of course, because that's his favorite team.
02:15But he brought up a really good point.
02:18Isn't Isak Paredes the type of guy that the Brewers would trade away?
02:21Yes, absolutely.
02:23Expiring deal.
02:24You've got two years.
02:24He's already making $10 million.
02:26But they did clear up some salary with Freddy Peralta going to New York.
02:30Exactly.
02:30I guess I just, I don't know what the Brewers' plan is.
02:33Because if you're telling me it's Joey Ortiz, Jet Williams, and Bryce Terang as your whatever combination of shortstop, third base, and second base, I don't love that.
02:44And then you also traded away all the depth.
02:47So it's a big bet for the Brewers to be making in 2026.
02:52Now, if there were a team that I would believe in when we're talking about making a gamble, the Brewers are on a shortlist.
02:59But that still doesn't make the gamble any less of a gamble.
03:02So, let's go.
03:03So, let's go.
03:05So, let's go.
03:07So, let's go.
