00:00We're supposed to be over 30 degrees today in the Northeast, Joe, and headed maybe by next week into the lower 50s.
00:07It would be unbelievable.
00:09And by the way, anybody playing any golf in the Northeast, it's been snow on the ground for two-plus weeks right now.
00:14But you can turn on, Joe, your television from Pebble Beach this week and the Pro-Am.
00:20Can we get that graphic up?
00:21Look at that.
00:22Look at that picture.
00:23Now, I've never been to Pebble Beach.
00:25I would love to walk the 18th at Pebble Beach.
00:28I really would.
00:29It's one of those beautiful places and historic where you're used to seeing, whether it's majors or the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, go through there.
00:34It is an electric golf course here.
00:36And for us in the Northeast, a welcome sight, Joe, where maybe spring is around the corner.
00:43Yeah, it is around the corner, Donnie.
00:46But, you know, it feels like there's a few parts of the country, Donnie, where it is spring year-round, right?
00:54Come on, tell us about it, Joe.
00:55Your neck in the woods might not necessarily feel like that.
01:00But that's all right, Donnie.
01:01That's why going away, I mean, what would you do for a weekend of golf at Pebble Beach right about now?
01:07Would you, I mean, there's, yeah, there's a reason why it is a primo destination in this country, especially this time of year.
01:15By the way, I've got to ask you a question.
01:17Did you load up your car for the free two-day hunt on the iguanas when they were frozen where you can turn them in?
01:22Did I read close to 6,000 iguanas were turned in, Joe?
01:26Did you participate and load your car up?
01:29Donnie, you didn't have to drive very far to get them.
01:32They were everywhere, Donnie.
01:34And we're not talking about the small little geckos here.
01:38We're talking about the monster ones, the little dragons that have no business being here because they should not be here since they have no, there's no other species that legit hunts them.
01:50So they had to actually give people hunting licenses to go collect these things.
01:54It's hilarious.
01:56These things are huge, Donnie, and they were everywhere on the road.
02:00It's hysterical.
02:01By the way, I went down the rabbit hole a little bit on that, too.
02:04There are YouTube channels where companies actually pay people, and all they do is come to your address or your community.
02:10The HOA gives them money.
02:11You just shoot them and take them away.
02:13Oh, that's mean, but they are an invasive species.
02:15But when I said vacation in the 1980s in Florida, you go to Disney World.
02:18You see the little geckos or lizards on the trees?
02:21And you're right, Joe.
02:22They are actual dragons in your communities now and all over the place.
02:28Well, they're dinosaurs, Donnie.
02:30But it's also the same reason that we also have a time of year where you can go hunt pythons because we shouldn't have them in the Everglades either, Donnie.
02:40So you get these guys out there hunting snakes that are just, you know, that are 30 feet long.
02:46And it is, yeah, welcome.
02:48Oh, how cute is this thing going to be, Donnie?
02:51Let's order this thing from some sort of strange website.
02:55Yeah, you get yourself a python.
02:57What are you going to do when it grows up?
02:58Yeah, it goes right down the toilet or it goes into the Everglades.
03:02And now what do we do, Donnie?
03:04Only Florida.
03:05We have snakeheads just eating the bass in lakes.
03:07You've got iguanas the size of dragons and pythons that are back to prehistoric days like it's Jurassic Park.
03:13Welcome to Florida.
03:14And now we're going to welcome ourselves to Pebble Beach.
03:16And by the way, when you do see Scotty Scheffler, is it mandatory that when he enters a tournament, Pebble Beach or no Pebble Beach,
03:23it's plus 200 to plus 300, then go deal with it.
03:28Well, I mean, listen, Donnie, he gave a lot of guys, including our own Cam Stewart, who was just betting them top three.
03:36Yes.
03:36Gave him a lot of big scare when that first round was over par last week.
03:40And boy, oh boy, would he make the cut?
03:43Yeah, he finished third.
03:45So, yeah, there is just no, even when he shoots 74, 75, it don't make a difference.
03:51He's still going to be a chance to win it and top three and top five.
03:55So, just, you know, it's like anything else.
03:57Just bet it to make the money and you are, it's about as sure a thing as you're going to get in golf.
04:02Let me ask you this question, too, because, again, great field, Scotty Scheffler, Roy McIlroy, Fleetwood, Cam.
04:08I mean, we're going to have some really good golf this weekend, which is fun to watch.
04:11But, Joe, if you were to, like, the PGA Tour players aren't paying greens fees to play at Pebble Beach.
04:17And I want to give you a tip, if you stay on site at Pebble Beach, your greens fee is $675.
04:24But here's the best part about it.
04:25If you're not staying there, it's $695.
04:27So, when you stay there probably for $1,000 plus a night, they give you a $20 off coupon to play that.
04:34Joe, I mean, come on.
04:36I'm staying at your resort.
04:37You give me a $20 coupon?
04:39Come on.
04:40Well, yeah, no, that's actually done.
04:41If you're not staying there, though, that's $600 for the round of golf.
04:45It's another $500 to get the card.
04:47So, actually, if you're staying there, what they're giving you is the card for $20.
04:51Is that right?
04:52That's how it is.
04:52Is that what I'm seeing?
04:53Hold on.
04:54We got to dive into this.
04:55Hold on.
04:55I am seeing that.
04:57$695.
04:57Non-Resort plus card fee, $695.
05:02Told you.
05:03We're doing investigations into NIL right now in college basketball.
05:08I need an investigation at Pebble Beach.
05:10Is that how they get around it?
05:12Like, you can walk and save $600, but if you want to take a card, it's double your grief.
05:19Hour number two is coming up.
05:20See what you find out on this show, man.
05:22Oh, my goodness.
