00:00 More dogs and cats are ending up in kennels because people cannot manage the cost of looking after their furry friends.

00:07 There's a lot more dogs being given up because obviously the food bills keep going up.

00:18 There is no referrals needed, no conditions, because you don't know when you're going to have a hard week.

00:24 Sometimes an unexpected bill means you're suddenly short.

00:26 We love what we do, but we just think, "Oh my God, how are we going to do it?"

00:33 Unfortunately, the need is growing and there's more and more people struggling to feed their pets to keep them.

00:40 That is happening every day. We get people saying that they're choosing to buy pet food over human food.

00:48 So they're either going with very little or going without just to feed their pet,

00:53 because they desperately don't want to give them up for adoption.
