Solidarietà: Anselmi (Walden Lab), 'percezione negativa, momento storico difficile'

(Adnkronos) - “Le persone hanno una percezione tendenzialmente di segno negativo sul momento storico che stiamo vivendo e sulle sfide che abbiamo di fronte”. Lo dice Paolo Anselmi, presidente di Walden Lab in occasione dell’evento “Fare la differenza, il ruolo del lascito testamentario nel decennio dei grandi cambiamenti”, durante il quale è stata oggetto di presentazione l’indagine realizzata da Walden Lab-Eumetra per il Comitato Testamento Solidale intitolata “La percezione dei cambiamenti degli ultimi 10 anni e l’orientamento verso le donazioni e i lasciti solidali”.

00:04 Research tells us that today's Italians are, compared to the past, much more concerned about multiple issues.

00:12 First of all, environmental issues, climate change, the destruction of nature, of biodiversity,

00:18 but also on the social one, the increase of inequalities, the increase of poverty,

00:24 and of course, as a result of pandemic and war, the fear of new pandemics or new conflicts

00:33 is much higher today than in the past.

00:36 But I would say that in addition to this, there is a tendency to have a negative impact

00:44 on the moment we are living and on the prospects and challenges we face.

00:50 There is a positive trend in terms of awareness of what each of us can do

00:58 to contribute to the solution of problems.

01:00 The willingness to commit to the social and environmental front is being evaluated in growth

01:09 to reduce the discomfort of those who are in suffering and to contribute to the common good.

01:15 Solidarity and donations are one of the opportunities that Italians consider.

01:21 The people who have already decided to make a donation are still a minority, only a small minority,

01:30 we are between 2 and 3 percent, but the number of people who say they are taking it into consideration

01:38 and are oriented to make this decision is constantly growing.

01:42 This is consistent with the very clear increase in knowledge,

01:47 and this is the effect of the communications that the Committee and the various organizations have made,

01:53 and the perception of the positivity of the outpouring as an opportunity to contribute,

02:00 even after the end of our lives, to make a better world.
