00:08 Good evening and welcome to the day three wrap-up of the Royal Adelaide Show.

00:13 It was the pinnacle of the prime lamb and maternal breeds judging in the sheepshed

00:17 today with the magnificent Borderlester ewe exhibited by Will Schilling,

00:21 Bellamy Parkside, Garingarung, Victoria who claimed the supreme interbreed ewe

00:26 from the 11 breeds. Shane and Amber Baker Belula White Suffolk stud

00:31 growing up secured their first interbreed title with their grand

00:36 champion White Suffolk ram crowned the supreme champion ram from 12 breeds.

00:41 The ram will be sold in the studs annual on property sale later this month.

01:14 part in the Ann Cooke Memorial Trophy for Junior Pig Paraders this morning with

01:18 Adelaide boy Damien Church winning by showing great confidence in the

01:22 showring. Pig judge Ray Roediger then gave a master class on what to look for

01:27 when judging at a royal show. Commercial pig classes were also held today with

01:32 the Glen Keram family of Caton taking out Best Bacon and Martin Lewis of

01:40 Udunda winning Best Pork. In the dairy ring Southeast breeder Ben Largo took

01:46 out the senior champion Holstein while in the jersey competition. The winner

01:51 also came from the cow four year old in milk class where Anna Topsy Bell owned

01:56 by Andrew and Angela Koch McAlter won first place and also the senior champion.

02:02 In the Guernseys the cow from six and seven year old in milk class Broccoli

02:12 Banofi exhibited by LF and JM Cleggett Glencoe won and then went on to

02:20 clean up the senior champion reserve with the younger cow from the five year

02:24 old in milk Broccoli Domesticate. The youth champions are also underway. So in

02:32 the meat sheep handlers Laney Jackson Brikunga came in first, Elise Johnson

02:38 Peake was second and Will Whitting Moelot was third. While in the meat sheep breeders

02:46 junior judging Elise Johnson was first, Emmy Hughes One Tree Hill was second and

02:51 Maddy Zanetti Crafers in third. There was also big crowds of competitors at the

03:00 alpaca handlers and junior judging with Victoria Clark Adelaide claiming the

03:05 junior judging title for the second year in a row and Juliana Brooks Mount Barker

03:10 named runner-up with Courtney Duggan Tanunda awarded the Amber Sun

03:15 Alpaca Prize for best junior handler. Tomorrow there will be a great focus on

03:20 grain and the younger members of the show will continue to be in focus with

03:25 the dairy junior handlers competition to be held and the 2023 rural ambassador

03:31 to be announced.
