00:02 It was interesting.
00:03 So there was a very small one.
00:06 There's a lot of pushing.
00:07 But then there was one where Jason Kelsey, the Eagles
00:10 All-Pro center, hit Zaire Franklin, a cold starting
00:13 linebacker, from behind.
00:15 And Jason apologized after.
00:16 He was pretty honest with the media.
00:18 He felt bad about it.
00:20 Because Kenny Gainwell-- we'll get into Gainwell
00:22 in a second here as Eagles running back.
00:24 He got pushed.
00:25 And they were a little bit too physical with Gainwell.
00:28 And remember, there's no tackling to the ground here.
00:30 So that was a little surprising.
00:32 So Kelsey came from behind and pushed him.
00:34 And Franklin never saw it.
00:35 So he was kind of upset.
00:36 And I would say for 45 seconds to a minute,
00:39 this was a brouhaha.
00:40 And it's funny because it's been kind of good weather,
00:44 no humidity, mid-70s.
00:46 Things are very calm here because you're not
00:49 taking guys to the ground.
00:50 And then you saw this happen.
00:51 It's kind of strange.
00:52 But the big story is obviously Jonathan Taylor.
00:54 The Colts have given Taylor's agent, Malky Kawa,
00:59 permission to seek a trade.
01:00 And I'm just working on this.
01:03 It's going to be tough.
01:04 I'm not saying it's not going to get done.
01:06 But the Colts have put it out to teams,
01:08 put it out to the league that they won a lot in return.
01:10 But Jonathan Taylor, who's an absolute stud talent, Mike,
01:14 last year was a rookie deal.
01:15 Not only would you have to give up significant compensation
01:18 to get him--
01:19 you don't do that and not get him signed to extension.
01:21 That's the way it works.
01:22 You get him signed to extension.
01:25 A new deal-- Mike, you're looking at $14 million
01:28 to $15 million per season.
01:30 That's really what it should come down to if they trade him
01:33 and he would get that new deal, which would have to happen.
01:36 And remember, he's also coming off of ankle surgery.
01:38 He hasn't even practiced yet.
01:39 Now, I know some people are saying,
01:41 he should be good to go by now.
01:42 And he was there today.
01:43 I did see him in a sweatshirt.
01:45 But it's definitely an odd situation.
01:46 It's awkward.
01:47 And by the way, I could tell you,
01:48 Deion Jackson, who's a 2021 undrafted free agent
01:51 on the Duke, looks like he would be the main back.
01:54 They would probably have a committee
01:56 if they do wind up trading John and Taylor.
01:59 But if you might remember, Deion Jackson
02:01 had a couple of really big games for the Colts last season.
02:05 And they also have Zach Moss, who's out with an injury,
02:08 who they got in a trade with Buffalo last season.
02:11 But when you have a rookie quarterback in Richardson,
02:15 you need to give him a running game.
02:17 And they just obviously would not be as good.
02:18 And that's not the way you want to start off things.
02:20 And by the way, John Taylor, a very high character guy,
02:24 what Jim Irsay, Mike, the owner, has to do
02:26 is stop talking about Jonathan Taylor.
02:28 He doesn't make the situation better.
02:30 And by the way, you know this.
02:32 Irsay said within the last week that they're not trading him.
02:34 Now they're giving permission to see a trade.
02:36 That's bizarre to me.
