In episode 4 of RT Local, our series highlighting the voices of those working at the grassroots of tourism, we speak with Tsewang Dorje, Project Coordinator with Global Himalayan Expedition at Maan Village, Ladakh.

Dorje’s optimism is infectious as he shares all that the community is doing now, like upgrading their homestays, building greenhouses to grow local vegetables, and also training in yoga, to welcome travellers in 2021. We certainly look forward to travelling to Maan in 2021!

Thank you Paras Loomba of GHE for putting us in touch with Dorje.
