Fosse Way Crossfit defibrillator fundraiser

Fitness fanatics from across the area banded together as they raised over £1800 for good causes. Crossfitters from the Fosse Way Crossfit Box in Newark conducted a different CrossFit workout for an hour over 12 hours. "The layout of the day is that every hour we do a different famous  CrossFit workout," said box member Clare Lawrence.  "Lots of people have joined in for the full 12 hours, some have joined in for six or three hours and they raise money as they go."  "We are raising money for a defibrillator for the gym and then any excess funds that we raise will go to the Children's Bereavement Centre here in Newark," said fellow Fosse Way Box member Jessica Young. 00:59 and do you have other people dropping in from other areas to assist you as well?

01:03 Yeah, I think that we've got about 20 to 25 people from Fossway,

01:10 and then about 5, just over 5 coming from CrossFit Grantham as well,

01:14 which is our sister box in Grantham.
