00:02 - Phillies and the Brewers.
00:05 Yesterday, the Brewers get a game
00:07 from the Philadelphia Phillies.
00:08 Phillies weren't able to mount that comeback
00:09 down three to nothing in the game,
00:10 tied it up at three, ended up losing five to three.
00:13 Today, Corbin Burns gonna be on the mound here
00:15 for the Brewers and Tywon Walker
00:18 for the Philadelphia Phillies.
00:19 The Phillies, slight favorite here, Joe.
00:21 Minus 1/18 price at Fanville total, listed at nine.
00:24 - All right, kinda like your Phillies here
00:28 and Walker, though I know a lot of people
00:31 are gonna gravitate towards Mr. Burns there
00:35 who almost passed out, I think, last start
00:37 in that 100 degree heat, but he still struck out,
00:40 what, 10, 11 guys, something along those lines there.
00:43 So yeah, I mean, right now, I don't wanna get
00:46 in front of this Phillies train at home.
00:50 And I like the way Walker has shown up big
00:53 in big spots here.
00:54 He's been a lot more reliable, Donny,
00:56 and I think even you would admit.
00:58 I still hate the Brewers lineup.
01:00 I don't like this lineup here.
01:03 I think when you compare it, even going up against Burns,
01:07 I still give the Phillies the edge here at home
01:10 in an early afternoon game.
01:12 I think the Phillies are at the right price
01:15 to back 'em, even though it's a mismatch
01:18 on the starting pitching.
01:20 - Yeah, the worry's always for Milwaukee here.
01:22 It's like, okay, we know we get frontline starting pitching.
01:24 Can the bats show up?
01:25 They scored five runs yesterday.
01:26 And if you could tell me that they're gonna average
01:28 four and a half to five runs a game,
01:29 Milwaukee's probably gonna be a pretty good ball club.
01:31 But taking a look at the lineup today,
01:33 Tywin Walker's been very good.
01:35 As a right-handed pitcher, he's really snapped back
01:37 over the past 30 days or so against right-handed batters.
01:40 An 094 ISO power number to weight it on base percentage
01:44 of 225, he gets into a little bit of trouble
01:46 with left-handed batters.
01:47 But in this lineup, outside of Christian Yellich,
01:50 it's not really too much to worry about
01:51 from the left-hand perspective.
01:52 Also, one of those key common themes,
01:55 we take a look at the Phillies.
01:56 They're gonna be playing at 1235.
01:57 The two previous games show that we talked about,
01:59 the Atlanta game and the Cincinnati game,
02:01 both hot muggy conditions with the wind blowing out.
02:04 Take a look at Citizens Bank Ballpark,
02:05 86 degrees at first pitch, wind blowing out to left field.
02:09 So if you are a pitcher here, keeping that ball down
02:11 is gonna be certainly important here,
02:13 and it will be hot conditions.
02:14 But two of these teams,
02:15 the Phillies looking to make the playoffs,
02:17 the Brewers looking to stay in the playoff race
02:19 and win the NL Central.
02:21 We'll see if they can do that.
