The empowerment of women is something Oropouche East MP, Dr. Roodal Moonilal says, he fully supports. However, he believes that while society was focusing on this, men were left to fall into neglect.
Noting that men are generally both the perpetrators and victims of violence, he points to a need to create more employment opportunities, but also for more male mentorship.
