The Shipping Association of Trinidad and Tobago is preparing to host its upcoming Shipping and Logistics Conference later this month, bringing together industry leaders to discuss challenges and opportunities within the sector.

00:10At a media briefing last Friday, Mulcair noted that shipping is essential to everyday life in TNT.
00:18Every product we use, from food and medicine to technology and construction material, relies on efficient supply chains and maritime
00:30transport to reach our shores.
00:33In a small island economy such as ours, the reliability and efficiency of these systems are even more critical.
00:42The two-day conference will bring together international experts and local stakeholders to discuss key issues in the shipping sector.

01:00We're going to share a lot of new information, analyses, and perspectives, which is very important.
01:11Discussing challenges, but also looking at solutions.
01:17And whatever we do in those first two points must improve decision-making in the industry.
01:24That is the intervention that we want.
01:28The shipping and logistic conference is carded for March 26th and 27th at the Hyatt Regency.
