Nationwide lifeguard shortage means regional pools could remain closed over summer

With summer fast approaching Australians in regional areas will be looking forward to a cool dip in their local pool. But many pools are set to stay closed because of a nationwide shortage of lifeguards, which has prompted local councils to offer free training.
