44:15: If the driver admitted he wasn't paying attention, which may have been proven when he missed the 28-day payment deadline, shouldn't he have received a ticket for undue care & attention, and, possibly, been submitted to a driver re-training course, and, worse, a mental check-up (MRI, etc)?
39:37: Granted, the cop should have been cited for undue care and attention, but, to be fair, notice the red light at the top right corner: It's a "Don't Walk" indicator. Of course, the handicapper may have started when the light indicated "Walk."
38:50: Strange that there was no mention of the alleged mate who owned the vehicle. And, given the uninsured driver's apparent physical condition (scrapes on his throat; a little bug-eyed; etc), I'm surprised they didn't do a drink/drug test.
31:50: I would have cited the blustering driver for not clearing his van of the snow on the roof. In the States, I have twice witnessed snow-covered cars with only a tiny peep hole to see through!
31:00: My father was on a highway with traffic crawling. A cop was in the median. A car drove onto the median, next to the cop, and entered the opposite lane of travel, without the cop saying or doing anything to stop him. So, my father did the same. The cop stopped him and cited him. My father demanded to know why, given the previous car. The cop didn't give an explanation, and threatened to arrest him. My father took his badge number and reported him. The ticket was dismissed in court.
26:00: This was extreme on the cops' part. Up to that point, they had no proof that she was the vandal. Putting her in cuffs, and taking her to the jail, and removing her clothes for a forensic search was excessive (I presume she wasn't a minor). The eventual 100 pound punishment wasn't enough to pay for the stated 800 quid per car damage (allegedly, three cars were vandalized by her). At the very least, the girl needs a shrink and/or a brain scan to check for tumors.
