Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff announced that her government would be earmarking US$60 billion to support the country's agricultural sector. It is the highest figure ever and 25% above last year's budget allocation. She also said that farmers who use environmentally friendly agricultural techniques would be rewarded for doing so. teleSUR
