00:00On our topics, on Tuesday, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced that a fourth public
00:04consultation will be held on next November 23rd.
00:08The main objective of the consultation is to call on the people to prepare and propose
00:12the projects they wish to implement in their communities, to which the President referred
00:16as an example of direct democracy.
00:19The first national public consultation was in April, where 4,500 community projects were
00:24selected for funding to strengthen the role of the people's power.
00:29In this regard, President Nicolas Maduro denounced foreign campaigns against democracy promoted
00:34by former President Hugo Chavez-Frias while demanded respect for the people of Venezuela.
00:49This year we had the first consultation on February 2nd, the second consultation on April 27th,
00:59the third consultation on July 27th, and there is one consultation left.
01:06And since I have already the funds, I am calling the fourth communal consultation for the general
01:12elections on Sunday, November 23rd.
01:17All neighbors to vote for their communal projects in an exercise of direct democracy.
01:27During the event, Maduro announced the fourth popular consultation of the year to be held
