A speech made by President Enrique Pena Nieto about his controversial energy reforms bill was overshadowed by anger and general discontent over the greed and corruption of the Mexican President's administration, which has left the country with more violence and unemployment than ever, soaring food and gas prices, institutionalized impunity in cases of murder and kidnapping committed by government authorities, all of which have contributed to a growing, popular protest movement which has filled the streets of the nations with marches for months. teleSUR
