The World Health Organization announced a plan to restore vital medical care, including vaccinations for thousands of children in the Gaza Strip. The initiative will begin next week and will focus on serving approximately 44 thousand children who have been deprived of essential health services for almost two years. At the same time, and in support of this massive campaign, the WHO is committed to reconstructing the healthcare infrastructure. The organization specified that 20 health centers that were damaged or destroyed are being actively rehabilitated in order to restore the health care network in Gaza.
