Venezuela has rejected US sanctions directed against government officials of that country. In a special interview with teleSUR, Foreign Minister Rafael Ramirez pointed out contradictions of these measures being adopted at the same time that Washington has eased sanctions on Cuba and is moving toward normalizing relations with the island. teleSUR
