Overwhelming majority of Catalans voted in favor of independence

Yesterday in Catalonia, two million Catalans cast their votes in a non-binding referendum to decide Catalan independence. A tally of the votes showed 80% to be in favor. Spain's Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy is furious over the vote which Spanish courts declared unconstitutional and is threatening Catalonia with litigation over the vote. teleSUR
