Suella Braverman joins Nigel Farage’s Reform UK, calling Britain “broken” and “humiliated on the world stage.” She slams out-of-control immigration, failing public services, and warns the nation is weak. Farage declares the silent majority will be heard, as the political shockwave grows across the UK.

00:00But I'll tell you increasingly who is with us, the silent, decent majority of law-abiding people in this country,
00:10they know the difference between right and wrong, and we're going to make sure, through the strength of this organisation,
00:16they clearly, loudly and consistently hear our voice, and many, many more will come to our support.
00:23But it won't just be the silent majority. We will even get more political figures, more public figures, standing up and defending what we are fighting for.
00:39And one of those figures is with us today.
00:44Oh. Trouble is, the last time I did this, I said, please enter stage right, Robert Jenrick.
01:08Nothing. I thought perhaps he changed his mind.
01:14And then he put some music on at the intermission.
01:17So I'll try it another time, somebody who's reached high office in the Cabinet, reaching up to the rank of Home Secretary,
01:28but was there during those years, and saw the betrayal of both our current and our former military,
01:37and now has the courage of her convictions to come and stand with me on a reform platform and speak to you today,
01:53because it's about time, isn't it?
01:54It's about time the establishment owned up to what they got wrong.
01:58She was witness to much of us.
02:00Ladies and gentlemen, would you please welcome to the stage, former Home Secretary, Suella Braverman.
02:36Thank you. Thank you, Nigel, for that wonderful introduction.
02:50I feel like I've come home.
02:54I feel like I've come home. Thank you.
02:57And I've got to say what an honour it is to be with all of you.
03:02You gallant, noble, brave servicemen and women, you've put your country first.
03:11You've sacrificed. You've given us everything.
03:16And from the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you.
03:22Thank you for everything you've done for the United Kingdom.
03:24Now, you didn't do that for applause.
03:35You didn't serve your country for reward.
03:38You did it because you believe passionately in the greatness of our country.
03:46You believe fiercely in its valour.
03:50Well, you're not apologising for our history.
03:54You're proud of the vast contribution that Britain has made to civilisation for centuries.
04:03And you have put your lives on the line in phenomenal acts of bravery time and time again.
04:13Ultimately, because of love.
04:16Love of our dear country.
04:20And it's because of that same love that I am standing here today.
04:26I, too, share that love of our country.
04:42I inherited it from my parents.
04:45They came to this country with nothing in the 1960s.
04:50My dad wasn't even 20 when he was kicked out of Kenya and came to the United Kingdom.
04:58My mother was an 18-year-old girl when she was recruited by the NHS in Mauritius.
05:05They came here, and they devoted their lives to the service of this country because of gratitude.
05:15Gratitude for the stability and the opportunity that this country gave them.
05:20And when a country gives you everything, like it has done me, you owe it loyalty.
05:28And loyalty demands honesty.
05:42And honesty compels me to say this today.
05:45Britain is indeed broken.
05:48She is suffering.
05:49She is not well.
05:52Immigration is out of control.
05:54Our public services are on their knees.
05:56People don't feel safe.
05:59Our youngsters are leaving the country for better futures elsewhere.
06:03We can't even defend ourselves.
06:05And our nation stands weak and humiliated on the world stage.
06:10So we stand at a crossroads.
06:13We can either continue down this route of managed decline to weakness and surrender.
06:19Or we can fix our country, reclaim our power, rediscover our strength.
06:25I believe that a better Britain is possible.
06:30You
