00:00Welcome to Life-Changing Word with Bishop Edward Brink.
00:08The Bible declares in Hebrews 4.12, for the Word of God is alive and powerful.
00:14Now, prepare your heart and mind for today's Word with Bishop Edward Brink.
00:21Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
00:26Welcome to another edition of Life-Changing Word.
00:34Psalm 19, verse number 14.
00:40Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight,
00:50O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
00:55Proverbs 18, verse number 21.
01:00Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
01:10In my introduction, the voice of the ministry is not just sound.
01:22It's a sacred instrument through which God communicates His will to people.
01:30From prophets to pastors, teachers to evangelists,
01:37every true servant of God carries a voice that must reflect God's heart,
01:45His truth, and His authority.
01:47When God calls someone, He anoints their voice to shape nations,
01:59comfort the broken, and confront darkness.
02:03The words we speak as ministers must therefore be directed by the Spirit and rooted in Scripture.
02:17Let me give you seven qualifications of a ministry voice.
02:27Number one, a voice that commands authority.
02:33Matthew 7, verse number 29 says,
02:38For Jesus taught them as one having authority and not as the scribes.
02:48When a servant of God speaks under divine authority,
02:55the words carry spiritual weight.
02:59Authority is not arrogance, it's the assurance that you represent heaven.
03:07A voice of authority silences confusion, rebukes evil, and releases God's will on earth.
03:21The voice of authority declares heaven's decree with confidence and clarity.
03:31The Scripture tells us that God is not the author of confusion,
03:38and that's the reason why we need clarity.
03:42Number two, a voice that speaks in faith.
03:50Romans chapter number 10, verse number 17 says,
03:56So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
04:04Faith-filled words create an atmosphere for miracles.
04:11The minister's mouth should echo what God says, not what circumstances show.
04:22Speaking faith means declaring victory before you see it.
04:29Your words frame your world, so speak what aligns with God's promise.
04:40The voice of faith calls things that are not as though they already are.
04:48Number three, a voice that builds and encourages.
04:55According to Ephesians 4, verse number 29, it says,
05:02Let no corrupt word proceed of your mouth,
05:08but what is good for necessary edification,
05:13that it may impart grace to the hearers.
05:19People of God, we must understand that God's ministers are called
05:25to build people up, not tear them down.
05:30The voice of the ministry should strengthen the weak,
05:36comfort the weary, and inspire hope.
05:40Every sermon, prayer, and conversation
05:45should leave someone closer to God.
05:49Number four, the voice of edification restores broken hearts
05:55and strengthens weary souls.
06:00Number four, a voice that prevails in prayer.
06:07Jeremiah 29, verse number 12 says,
06:11Then you will call upon me and go and pray to me,
06:18and I will listen to you.
06:23People of God, prayer keeps the minister's voice spiritually charged.
06:33Without prayer, words lose their power.
06:38When a minister prays, heaven responds.
06:44Elijah's prayers stopped and started the rain.
06:48A prayerful voice moves mountains and changes destinies.
06:55The praying voice releases divine power
06:58that words alone cannot produce.
07:03Number five, a voice that declares salvation.
07:11Romans 10, verse number 19 says,
07:15That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
07:20and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead,
07:27you will be saved.
07:29The central message of every ministry must be salvation through Jesus Christ.
07:43Our mouths must proclaim the good news boldly.
07:50It's not enough to preach inspiration.
07:54We must preach redemption.
07:57We must preach deliverance.
08:01We must preach salvation.
08:05The voice of salvation invites lost souls into the family of God.
08:16The voice of salvation opens the door of grace
08:22A voice for every heart that believes.
08:26Number six, a voice that release forgiveness.
08:37Jesus hung on the cross and he says,
08:42Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do.
08:48Luke 23, verse number 34.
08:53Forgiveness reflects the heart of Christ.
08:57Ministers who forgives freely can minister freely.
09:05A forgiving voice brings peace, reconciliation, and healing.
09:12Unforgiveness silences spiritual authority.
09:17But forgiveness restores the flow of grace.
09:23The forgiving voice breaks the chains of bitterness and brings restoration.
09:30And finally, a voice that speaks truth in love.
09:42Ephesians 4, verse number 15 says,
09:45But speaking the truth in love may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ.
09:58Truth must always be at the center of ministry.
10:07Yet truth without love wounds rather than heals.
10:15Ministers must declare God's word boldly but with compassion.
10:21The voice of truth corrects without condemning and enlightens without embarrassing.
10:31The truthful voice reveals God's heart while preserving unity and grace.
10:40In my final conclusion, let me say this, that your voice is a spiritual instrument.
10:50Use it wisely.
10:52As ministers, parents, leaders, or believers, we must ensure our words reflect Christ's character.
11:05Speak with authority, faith, faith, and compassion.
11:10Use your mouth to pray, to bless, to forgive, and to speak truth.
11:18Ask God daily to sanctify your speech so that every word you speak carries his power and presence.
11:30Let your voice be a vessel through which lives are changed and God is glorified.
11:53Amen.
11:54This is the life-changing word of God for the people of God.
