00:04 It was a battle for the iron skillet today as TCU defeated crosstown rival SMU 34-17.
00:10 The big question mark today was could TCU's defense hold up against star
00:13 quarterback Preston Stone, who was thrown for over 200 yards a game this season.
00:17 And I'd say they did pretty well considering they broke up multiple passes and
00:20 had two interceptions.
00:22 As far as the TCU offense goes, they were very slow in the first half, but
00:25 late in the third they turned it on and Chandler Morris, he had himself a day.
00:29 Morris went 23 for 32 with 261 yards and three touchdowns.

00:36 I spoke with head coach Sonny Dykes after the game and
00:38 he told me it's been night and day for this defense.
00:40 In game one against Colorado, they had little to no film.
00:43 Now they have lots and they've really dialed it in in the film room.
00:46 TCU, we back in action here at Amon G.
00:49 Carter Stadium on Saturday when they take on West Virginia at seven.
