00:00In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
00:03All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
00:05And peace and blessings be upon the Master of the Prophets and Messengers.
00:08After this, I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:11In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
00:14All praise is due to Allah. Our speech on Hajj and Umrah is almost complete.
00:19We also spoke about the presence of Madinah Munawwara and its etiquettes.
00:24In the last episode, I would like to talk about the mistakes that occur during Hajj.
00:32Especially in the state of Ahraam.
00:35What are their sins? How should we pay them?
00:38We have kept this episode separate so that if we talk about it in between,
00:43sometimes things get mixed up.
00:45You should listen to this last episode again and again.
00:51And if possible, record it and keep it with you.
00:55So that during Hajj or Umrah, you listen to it and get a chance to share it with people.
01:03You should be careful and share it with people.
01:05So remember a few things.
01:07When a crime is committed on you, the Shariah has given the command of Kaffarah.
01:13One of the things that is given as Kaffarah is called Dam.
01:18When the word Dam is used, it means a goat or a sheep.
01:23The second word is Badana.
01:25Badana means a camel or a cow.
01:28The third word is Sadqa.
01:31They say, if this is done, give me Sadqa.
01:33This is the amount of Sadqa of Fitr.
01:35That is, whatever flour you eat at home,
01:37the value of 2 kg of flour is equal to the amount of Sadqa of Fitr.
01:43Then remember that all these crimes are divided into two parts.
01:51One is called Ikhtiyari and the other is called Ghair-e-Ikhtiyari.
01:55One is that you deliberately did something against the Haram.
01:59Or you deliberately did something against the Haram in Tawaf.
02:02Who knows that I am a fool, he deliberately went and did Tawaf.
02:05This is called Jurm-e-Ikhtiyari.
02:07I will tell you in detail that you do not have to pay Kaffarah on this.
02:12But one is Jurm-e-Ghair-e-Ikhtiyari.
02:15This means that, for example, if there is a disease,
02:19severe heat, severe cold, or injury,
02:22or due to some other excuse, a crime has been committed,
02:27then it is called Jurm-e-Ghair-e-Ikhtiyari.
02:30Remember that if a crime is unauthorized,
02:33then there are four forms of Kaffarah.
02:35The first is that you give Dham.
02:37If Dham is obligatory on it, then you will give Dham.
02:39If you do not want to give Dham,
02:41then give Sadqa-e-Fitr to six poor people.
02:45Six poor people.
02:46And you have to give it to different people.
02:47You will not give it to one person.
02:48Otherwise, it will not be considered valid.
02:50You will give it to six people separately.
02:51And the third is that you give value to six poor people.
02:56Otherwise, the third is that you give two meals to six poor people.
03:00And if you can't do this,
03:02then keep three fasts.
03:04Kaffarah will be paid.
03:06Remember that when we talk about Dham or Badana,
03:09then it must be within the limits of Haram.
03:12You will have to sacrifice within the limits of Haram.
03:14You can't do it at home.
03:15But where you have to fast,
03:17where you have to give Sadqa-e-Fitr,
03:19remember that the limits of Haram are not necessary.
03:22You can do it at home as well.
03:23So, whatever things keep happening like this,
03:25your hair breaks,
03:26you comb your hair by mistake,
03:27your hair breaks,
03:28you have a fever,
03:30because of that you drank a drink that was fragrant,
03:34and there are other problems.
03:36For example,
03:37you have severe wounds on your head,
03:39and you have hair,
03:40and you are in a state of Ihram.
03:42Now you have your hair cleaned,
03:44because your wounds were causing a lot of pain.
03:46So, it is a must that Dham is obligatory,
03:48but the crime will come unauthorized,
03:50because you did this due to severe itchiness.
03:53So, the Kaffarah of these people,
03:55in the form of Sadqa-e-Fitr,
03:57in the form of fasting,
03:58you can do it in your city as well.
04:00But do note,
04:01what happened at what time,
04:02what was the mistake,
04:03if your hair has broken,
04:04write about that as well,
04:05that so and so hair had broken,
04:07you will come home,
04:08and pay the Kaffarah.
04:10And remember,
04:11the three days that I told you to keep,
04:13it is not necessary to keep it on foot,
04:15keep one day,
04:16two days gap,
04:17then keep one day,
04:18two days gap.
04:19And keep one thing in mind,
04:22that if you give Dham or Badana in the limits of Haram,
04:26then the conditions of the animal are the same,
04:29which are of the animal of sacrifice.
04:31Similarly, you will have to take the animal,
04:33and secondly,
04:34you cannot eat anything from it.
04:36You will have to do all the Sadqa.
04:39And there,
04:40there are people like Sudanese,
04:42they take it,
04:43they are poor,
04:44you give it to them,
04:45and all this will be done.
04:46Now, a few things,
04:47crimes,
04:48and the Kaffarah that are necessary on them,
04:50I will mention them in a while.
04:52One is,
04:53I have mentioned it earlier as well,
04:55that in the condition of Haram,
04:57touching someone with lust,
05:00makes this Dham obligatory.
05:02Now, whether it is a man or a woman,
05:05whether it is your wife,
05:07or husband,
05:08or unmarried man or woman,
05:10in any way,
05:11if you touch the body with this intention,
05:13then,
05:14the one who did it,
05:15it is the same.
05:16And if the other person also does it with the same intention,
05:19then Dham will be obligatory on both of them.
05:22Keep this in mind.
05:23But if in this condition,
05:25there is a reception,
05:26then there is no Dham or Kaffarah on it.
05:29And if in any way,
05:30there is an obligation to wash yourself,
05:33then Dham will be obligatory on it.
05:35Keep in mind the issue of cutting nails,
05:37that if in the condition of Haram,
05:39if you cut less than 5 nails,
05:41then in return for each nail,
05:43you will have to give one Sadaqah.
05:45If by mistake you started,
05:47and cut 3 nails,
05:48and remembered that you are in the condition of Haram,
05:50then in return for each nail,
05:51you will have to give one Sadaqah,
05:52the amount of Fitr.
05:54Yes, if you cut 5 nails of the hand or foot,
05:57continuously,
05:58i.e. cut together,
05:59then you have cut the entire nail,
06:02then now Dham will be obligatory.
06:04Similarly,
06:05if someone cuts the nail with his teeth,
06:09some people have the habit of chewing,
06:11then if it is of one or two fingers,
06:13then in return for each finger,
06:15as a Kaffarah,
06:16you will have to give one Sadaqah.
06:18Keep this in mind.
06:19The issues related to hair,
06:21keep in mind that
06:22if a Mohreem, may Allah be pleased with him,
06:24got his beard washed,
06:25then Dham will be obligatory on it.
06:27Similarly,
06:28if a Mohreem, may Allah be pleased with him,
06:30got his armpit hair washed,
06:32then Dham will be obligatory on it.
06:33A brother just asked me a question,
06:35that I could not do physical cleansing,
06:37I am wearing Ihram,
06:38I am sitting in a plane,
06:39so should I go there and do physical cleansing?
06:42I explained to him that
06:43never do this,
06:44because you are in the condition of Ihram.
06:46This was not to be done earlier,
06:47so now you do it,
06:48when Ihram will be removed,
06:49then you will see.
06:50Keep this in mind.
06:52Yes, if someone got a moustache cleaned,
06:54or cut it short,
06:55then Sadaqah is obligatory on it.
06:58If after doing Wudu,
06:59or shaving,
07:00or combing,
07:01two or three hairs fall on the head,
07:03then instead of every hair,
07:05now there is no Sadaqah,
07:06but instead of every hair,
07:07one handful of grains,
07:08or one piece of bread,
07:10or one stick of khairat.
07:12Yes, if more than three fall,
07:14then Sadaqah will be obligatory.
07:16Therefore, if you have a moustache,
07:17or two hairs fall on the hand,
07:19then do a little bit of Sadaqah.
07:21But if three fall,
07:22more than three,
07:23three will do,
07:24if more than three fall,
07:25then Sadaqah will be obligatory.
07:27Keep in mind the issues related to fragrance.
07:30If fragrance is applied,
07:32then one thing is,
07:33whether it has covered the whole body,
07:35or not.
07:36For example,
07:37if a little bit is applied on the hand,
07:38and the whole hand is not involved in it,
07:40then it is seen,
07:41whether it is less or more.
07:43The sign of more is,
07:44when people say,
07:45you are getting a lot of fragrance,
07:47ask people if they are getting fragrance,
07:48they say, yes,
07:49a lot of fragrance is coming,
07:50then Dham will be obligatory.
07:51If it is less,
07:52then no.
07:53This is when the whole body is not covered.
07:55If the whole body is covered,
07:57then even if the fragrance is less,
07:59Dham will be obligatory.
08:00That is why I explained to you,
08:02that when you are in a state of Haram,
08:04then you should avoid people.
08:07Once I was in a state of Haram,
08:08I got down on the floor,
08:09a person came to meet me,
08:10I stopped him,
08:11I said no,
08:12he was coming from far away,
08:14he was wearing a scent,
08:16he got upset with me,
08:17that the Mufti did not let me hug him.
08:20If you apply it on Shariah issues,
08:21then this issue also happens.
08:22But anyway,
08:23we do not have to be upset,
08:24we have to follow Shariah.
08:26So,
08:27if you cover the whole body,
08:28then it is a problem.
08:29So, I told you to be careful about this.
08:31It is a big problem to give a kiss to such a black stone.
08:34Our ignorant Muslim brothers,
08:36and especially the people of India and Pakistan,
08:38who do these things,
08:39if they see it,
08:40they will take it and put it on the black stone.
08:42They think that we have made it fragrant.
08:44Brother,
08:45in a state of Haram,
08:46the lips that will be kept,
08:47the lips are a whole organ.
08:48If fragrance is applied on the whole lip,
08:50Dham will be obligatory.
08:51Which good work did you do?
08:52Which miracle did you do?
08:53Be careful about this.
08:55Similarly,
08:56if fragrant oil is applied on the whole head,
08:59Dham will be obligatory.
09:01I told you to keep two sheets of Ihram.
09:05Keep two sets of them.
09:06You have worn one.
09:07Before entering the state of Ihram,
09:09apply fragrance on it as much as you want.
09:11Now you will wear it.
09:12You will make an intention.
09:13You have entered the state of Ihram.
09:14There is no problem.
09:15But suppose that you have a problem.
09:17The clothes have become dirty.
09:18These are Ihram sheets.
09:20You will remove them
09:22and wear the other sheets.
09:24There should be no fragrance in them.
09:26They will be called separate sheets.
09:28They should be without fragrance.
09:29You will not apply fragrance on them.
09:30If you apply,
09:31Dham will be obligatory on you.
09:32Similarly,
09:33the clothes that our sisters wear,
09:34if they change them,
09:36they change the state of Ihram.
09:39So,
09:40fragrance should not be applied on the other clothes.
09:44And,
09:46I have told you about pure fragrance.
09:48For example,
09:49cardamom,
09:50cloves,
09:51and other things
09:52which give a lot of fragrance,
09:54if you eat them raw,
09:55Dham will be obligatory.
09:56If you cook them in Biryani,
09:58you can chew and smell them.
09:59There is no problem.
10:00Because,
10:01after burning,
10:02the fragrance burns.
10:03After burning,
10:04it is finished.
10:05It is considered to be extinct.
10:06Then there is no problem.
10:07And,
10:08all our brothers,
10:09who are used to eating fragrant betel leaves,
