So, I have made a review of Sega's Mascott Sonic and I feel the need to do its counterpart being Nintendo's Mascott Mario.
This part, fittingly enough, starts with The Adventures of Super Mario Brothers 3, and we cover Super Mario World and the Live Action Movie.
Wait, where's number 2? Well, seeing as the Super Show was heavily based on Super Mario Brothers 2, and Super Mario Brothers 3 was the EPIC GAME OF THE YEAR, it only made sense the Americans would skip a number.
As with the game, we got the Koopa Kids trying to help out their father take over the Mushroom Kingdom, and a multitude of powerups. The warp pipes to the real world are pretty open now so anyone can come and go as they please, meaning the brothers now have TWO worlds to protect. And as if this was some kind of My Little Pony cartoon, there is a musical number in every episode.
Super Mario World takes place in the Stone Age. As in the game, you got the dinosaur Yoshi and a new set of powerups.
And since I'm coverying all the adaptations of the franchise, why not have a look on the live action movie? So, how do you make a live action version of a plumber rescuing a princess from turtle dragons and dinosaurs? Judging from this movie, you can't make anything good out of it.
