Despite his huge success in the movie business, Danny Boyle says he would never move to America.
"I like New York, I like America, I don't like LA. It's not a place that I want to live or work," the 54-year-old said.
His 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire was a huge hit, and the director will be hoping to recreate some of that success with his latest offering, 127 Hours, which is out now.
It is based on the true story of Aron Ralston, a mountain climber in the US who becomes trapped under a boulder in a deep crevice, and has to amputate his arm to survive.
Milk actor James Franco plays the lead, and is being tipped for awards success.
Boyle's next film is thought to be another instalment in the 28 Days Later franchise.
