00:00Childhood has been transformed over the last 10 to 15 years because of social media, smartphones,
00:06screen time and this is something that we know is a massive concern for parents. So as well as
00:11the wider action that we're taking on social media and the big consultation that's underway
00:15at the moment that the government will act on, for parents of little children they have told
00:20us really clearly what they want is information about what the evidence shows for how much time
00:26their children should spend on screens and what sort of things that they should be watching or
00:31interacting with on their screen. So we've commissioned experts to pull together the
00:36evidence, put that in a format that's really clear and easy to understand so that we can help parents with
00:41it.
