00:00I speak to thousands of parents of young children and they just kept saying to me,
00:04Rachel, tell me how long, you know, how much is too much?
00:07So we pulled together the best scientists, reviewed all the research,
00:12and both the scientific research, the child development research,
00:15and we've come up with, you know, what we think is reasonable and what's detrimental.
00:21So we know that about 98% of children under five are using screens every day.
00:26We do know now that too much, using too much social media will affect child's development.
00:35Using too much screen time will affect the child's development.
00:37So, you know, we are saying basically for naught to twos, they should have none.
00:44There is no amount that is necessary and there is a lot of potential for getting in the way of
00:50that child's development.
00:52Their speech, their language, their normal interactions.
00:56Well, let's get out of here.
