Making a rare public appearance, Susan Boyle has been in London to sign copies of her new autobiography The Woman I Was Born To Be.

The Scottish singer, who found fame on Britain's Got Talent, said she wanted to write the book because she is "as good as anybody else and can keep going."

Subo's publisher has described her book as the "story of her life and the challenges she has struggled to overcome with faith, fortitude and an unfailing sense of humour".

When asked what we can expect from her next, Subo said, "Who knows? Watch this space."

Susan's second album, The Gift, is due out next month.
