See-through PlayStation gear is back. 🎮✨
On October 28, 2026, Sony revealed the Prism Collection on the PlayStation Blog: transparent DualSense wireless controllers and PS5 console covers in three colours, Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray.
What Sony announced, according to the PlayStation Blog:
• The high-gloss clear finish extends across the back of the controller, giving a look at the technology inside.
• Sony's design team says it wanted to bring back the see-through trend of the late '90s in a fresh, modern way.
• Price (RRP): $84.99 for a DualSense controller and $74.99 for a PS5 console cover (also €84.99/£74.99 and €74.99/£64.99).
• Pre-orders begin November 10, 2026, and the collection launches starting February 4, 2027. Exact dates and availability may vary by country.
• GSMArena notes that the top halves of the console covers reveal the console's fan, and that Sony's release does not say which PS5 models the covers fit.
