Ukraine resumes strikes on Russian oil refineries, defying reported US pressure.
Ukraine has resumed long-range drone strikes on Russian oil refineries after a pause of about two weeks, according to reports. Drones reportedly set fire to the Kstovo refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region overnight on Sunday, following a strike on a refinery in Samara on Friday. Ukrainian officials say Kyiv never agreed to a proposed thirty-day pause, while Moscow says Kyiv is ignoring Washington's wishes.
