00:11And so as we look at this, we always think we know who it is.
00:16In the last couple years, there's been guys that have kind of come out of nowhere.
00:20Do you think of the list that I mentioned of Carr, Manning, Chambliss, Sayan, Hoover, the Heisman Trophy winner will
00:27come from that list, lift it or leave it?
00:30I'll say leave it because this feels like a year.
00:33And I've seen the Heisman odds.
00:34There's one other quarterback that's among the favorites that I do think is interesting.
00:38Don't say more.
00:39And then Darian Mensah is really interesting because I think he will produce at Miami.
00:44But this feels like a year where if Jeremiah Smith had a big year, it could happen.
00:49And as you know, a quarterback's like, don't look at my quarterback rankings from last year because Fernando was nowhere
00:54near the top 25.
00:55You have questions about players like that.
00:58You mentioned a quarterback that I'm really intrigued by this year.
01:01I'm not saying he's going to win the Heisman.
01:03I just think bounce back potential.
01:06DJ Lagway, for example, leaves Florida, goes to Baylor, plays in the Big 12.
01:11His dad played there.
01:12It might feel like home.
01:13He's a Texas guy.
01:14He could have a big year.
01:16That's one example.
01:17In the Big 10, you have that list of quarterbacks.
01:21There's a guy that I like.
01:22I don't know if he'll be great at Nebraska, but Anthony Calandria.
01:26That's a guy that could have a nice year for them.
01:28But as far as Heisman, I think it's still a mix of you've got to produce.
01:32You've got to play on a pretty good team, if not an undefeated team.
01:35And that list of favorites is still pretty good.
01:39I mean, between Julian saying the only returning finalist, Arch, CJ, Trinidad Chambliss, he could blow up again.
01:49And then those transfer quarterbacks, Darian Mensah, and another guy, we've got to talk about Lane Kiffin again.
01:54If Sam Levitt's healthy, he could have a nice year for LSU.
01:58The last three winners were all transfers, Bill.
02:02Will this year's Heisman Trophy winner be a transfer?
02:06I mean, it's a good bet.
02:08But, again, if you were like, I've got to give you three Heisman candidates right now, and this is who
02:15you get for the year,
02:16I would take Jeremiah Smith.
02:18I would ask, and you don't have to give him, can I get Julian saying as an either or?
02:23Because the quarterbacks obviously win the Heisman.
02:26And if Julian has another huge year, he could be in the mix.
02:29I'd probably take Arch, because I do think he's going to have a build on what he did at the
02:34end of last year.
02:35If Texas were to win the SEC, he could easily win the Heisman.
02:39Although, Eli and Peyton never did.
02:41So that's important to know.
02:43And then, if CJ Carr leads Notre Dame to an unbeaten regular season, I like his odds.
02:49You know, Notre Dame, go ahead.
02:51We're talking about some of the biggest Blue Blood programs, like big-time names, Carr, Manning, you know, bringing up
02:58Texas, Ohio State, Notre Dame.
03:01I mean, these are some big-time programs.
03:02And usually, when you have a lot of weight and publicity around you, if you have the season, you have
03:06to play well, you'll get a shot.
03:09And then, if you have a lot of weight, you'll get a shot.
