00:04Anytime, Tom, that a guy talks or a fighter talks about retirement before a fight, you know, you always have
00:12to take note of it.
00:14Anytime an opponent starts talking about another fighter, but not the one that they're fighting, you have to take note
00:21of it and say, you know what, like, where's this fighter's head at right now?
00:25Now, and with Moicano right now, it's neither of the above, but it's interesting that basically he wants out of
00:31the UFC, right?
00:32So, you know, he says he wants to explore his options, which I really don't know what your options are,
00:39bro, to be honest with you.
00:42But interesting to me that he's talking about, like, yeah, he wants to become a free agent and see what's
00:48out there, which is never going to help you, actually, in the UFC, in the judges' minds,
00:53even though the judges are supposed to be not part of the company, but we all know, you know, we
00:59all know how it works.
01:02What do you think of this fight that's basically a pick-em?
01:06I mean, you've got a veteran that's fought and everybody before that's been around forever against Tom Nolan, who's on
01:12a four-fight win streak right now.
01:14But this is a step-up in class.
01:16What do you think of the main event, Tom?
01:19Yeah, it is a big step-up in class for Nolan.
01:23And Moicano, you know, Moicano says a lot of crazy things.
01:26He's all about money.
01:28The guy, he talks about money all the time.
01:30That was kind of how he got to be as popular as he became because he said, I can't afford
01:35to lose.
01:36And, you know, Moicano wants money, and he's got all these clips out there.
01:40And, you know, Moicano wants money.
01:42I mean, that's just kind of what it is.
01:43But, you know, he's a very good fighter.
01:46He's a very, very good fighter.
01:47He's getting up there in age.
01:49You know, his recent record hasn't been the greatest, but when you go back and you look at the guys
01:53he's lost to, not the, you know, some of the best guys in the world.
01:57So he's very good.
01:58He showed in his last fight.
02:00You know, that was another close fight, you know, on the odds.
02:03And Moicano just came out and absolutely dominated that fight.
02:06Looked like a million bucks.
02:07And I feel like he could do the same thing in this one here.
02:10He's got a big edge in the grappling, just big edge overall.
02:14I mean, I think, you know, the striking is good.
02:16The ground and pound is good.
02:17I really feel pretty good about Moicano here.
02:20I feel like there's value on Moicano.
02:22And, you know, Nolan is dangerous.
02:23He could crack.
02:24He could hurt Moicano.
02:26We have seen Moicano rocked a few times.
02:28Moicano's cardio, you know, has dipped a little bit as the years have gone on.
02:33But to me, I feel like this is a levels fight and Moicano is the side here.

02:43It's interesting, though, that, you know, it's been an interesting market, this, right?
02:48Nolan actually opened up as a favorite at some spots.
02:51And it's flipped, yet a lot of people still like Nolan, nevertheless.
02:56Like a lot of people I see online, I hear this, I hear that, I see this.
03:00And people are like, yeah, you know what, Nolan this, Nolan that.
03:03But one thing with Moicano is, as Tom stated, like he's very vocal about it.
03:08And he openly said this week, yeah, I want to explore my options.
03:11He basically wants to make money.
03:13He's hoping, you know what, maybe the MVP card, somebody comes in and pays him more money.
03:19But for him to do that, it's a hell of a lot better if he wins on the way out,
03:24right?
03:25He's not done with the UFC yet.
03:26But, like, he's got to keep winning.
03:28And then his value, his value, you know, goes up.
03:32And he understands that.
03:34I was kind of, you know, even at the current number here, I kind of saw the same thing here
03:39with two and a half.
03:41Yet, I think so many people like Nolan in this fight, it's sort of balanced the odds out a bit
03:45here.
03:46I mean, even with the opening number, it's going to end up being like 50-50 when it's all said
03:50and done, Tom.
03:50You know what I'm saying as far as the betting market?
03:53Yeah, and I think a lot of people are looking at the fights where, you know, Moicano showed, you know,
03:59the cardio kind of slowed a little bit.
04:01Yeah, they questioned his jaw.
04:02Oh, he could get cracked, right?
04:03That's the other one.
04:04The chin could get cracked.

04:07But when you really break it down, I mean, Nolan, he can crack.
04:10He definitely has that ability.
04:12But we've also seen Moicano hurt.
04:14We've seen him dropped in fights and come back and win and finish his opponent, you know, in the very
04:18next round.
04:19So, you can't just count Moicano out, even if he does get hurt.
04:23You know, Nolan has to go in.
04:25He has to put him away because Moicano, he will continue to fight.
04:29And, you know, he's training for a five-round fight.
04:32He's been in a lot of five-round fights over the course of his career.
04:35Nolan has never been in one.
04:37Exactly.
04:38This is the first one.
04:40So, and Moicano, he has kind of taken a little bit of a step back.
04:44He's not fighting, you know, obviously he's not fighting the competition that he was fighting.
04:50And he's taking a little bit of time off.
04:52I don't see him on social media as much, which I feel like is a good sign.
04:56I mean, he's still out there, but he's not doing as much as we're used to seeing him doing.
05:02And, you know, Nolan gives up his back a lot.
05:05And you cannot give up your back against Moicano.
05:07He will choke you out.
05:10It's basically over if Nolan gives up his back here.
05:15And that's kind of where I feel like this fight's going to play out.
05:18Moicano will get on top.
05:19He will land that heavy ground and pound.
05:21We saw it against BSD.
05:23Absolutely bludgeoned BSD.
05:24And, you know, BSD still, after that fight, he's got his way back.
05:28He's one of the top guys in this division.
05:31So, you know, Moicano is a very, very dangerous fighter.
05:34He's been in there with the best of the best.
05:36You know, you go back to the fight where he fought RDA.
05:39You know, he was hanging out on a yacht, you know, drinking and partying and came in on like a
05:45week's notice.
05:46Got the hell beat out of him for five rounds, but never quit.
